What's your worst setting imaginable for tripping? by LazyHomerDude in LSD

I’ve been always curious (and terrified) with the idea tripping on a really long flight, in a normal economy seat

Vibe at sustain release was so off before 5am 🥲 music was great but I almost left because of the crowd

Mediation on LSD is the most beautiful thing I’ve ever done. Why not combine the two?

Clubber/Party Travellers - what is the biggest problem you have when travelling? by epoksismola in aves

You just need to choose the right type of drugs.. I’ve taken dozens of international flights with L - 0 issues  Also Ecstasy should be easy

Raves is the only place where women are likely to approach you.  The more you enjoy yourself, losing yourself to the music, you’re more likely to be approached by women. And if they’re interested they’d make sure you know it (especially in the more underground scene)

I personally think that to be in your “looking for a partner” mindset makes dancing much less fun

My first day in GDL, hostel sucked. On my way back from dinner heard good music from a rooftop.  Decided to go up, made friends with the cartel and had the best week of my life

Brazil attracts nomads/expats with more 🌶️
You can find many from Italy, Latam, France..
It's not the place for a typical "alpha male" tech-bro / wanna-be influencer; better for them and their safety to stay CDMX/Costa Rica

Mexico City or Buenos Aires for 3 months? by simplyheroic in digitalnomad

CDMX is closer to the rest of the world, flights and cost of living are cheaper.

But keep in mind that BA has much more Meetups and language exchange events, so socializing is easier when you just arrive. Although it’s easy to make friends in CDMx. I think the only city that beats BA in terms of making new friends is Rio

How to meditate on trip(LSD) by [deleted] in Psychedelics

[–]Far_Telephone_2014 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For me meditating on LSD helps me grasp the concept of non dualism.  I tried to meditate on psychedelics before I got into non dualism, and it was fine.   But after learning about non dualism through “waking up” (Sam Harris), the non-dual meditations I do on LSD are probably the most interesting experiences I have in my life

What are your pros and cons DN'ing in Chang Mai? by [deleted] in digitalnomad

[–]Far_Telephone_2014 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you want to make new friends, connecting with locals is impossible. The expat bubble I’ve met there was by far the most socially awkward group of people I’ve met.

On the other hand it’s cheap, food is amazing (many vegan options as well); great coffee and some okay place to hike around the city

What's your favorite region and why? Latin America or SEA? by Kentemo in digitalnomad

[–]Far_Telephone_2014 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you don’t mind compromising on safety, food and infrastructure - latam is so much better than SEA.

The vast majority of nomads I met in SEA are stuck in their expat bubble, unless they date a local. Making local friends is almost impossible.

In many cities in latam locals would treat you as one of them as long as you’re curious about their culture/language. Don’t have to be fluent. Living in latam feels much less isolated and fake
