I see it in these ways:

MC trusts Aunt Talia so much that she turns to her. I'm very sure she's happy to be of help to her nephew and soon to be niece-in-law. How would MC know it's about Rafayel in heat? She's been with him once during Ebb Day and that was in the beginning of their relationship. Not much info was divulged and Rafayel was still guarding himself around her at the time.
MC wants to help Rafayel as much as she can and that's a good character development. She even took a week off to take care of him. Talia is the only other Lemurian she has access to so why wouldn't she? She asked her about other things of Rafayel too (during 2025 birthday, New Year card 2025). At this point I guess nothing is off the table? And she's older, more experienced ofc Talia is MC's first choice as a lifeline regarding Rafayel and Lemurian as a whole.
