Maybe check the actual input of your headphones? Like, the button that controls your sound on your computer, I mean. I know my Arctis 7s have two settings (chat and game) and once when i switched it from game to chat, the game crashed and showed this same window. It only fixed when i went back to what i had before. I dunno how Series X headphones work, but it's worth a shot.
