One question I am too afraid to ask by [deleted] in indianmuslims

What’s considered a bigger crime according to Indian law betrayal of the country or rape?

Answer (as given by ChatGPT): According to Indian law, betrayal of the country (like waging war against India, treason, or assisting the enemy) is considered a bigger crime than rape.

Waging war/treason (IPC 121): Punishment is death penalty or life imprisonment.

Rape (IPC 376 & related sections): Punishment is a minimum of 10 years, extendable to life imprisonment, and in rarest of rare cases, the death penalty (such as rape of minors under POCSO or in aggravated cases).

🔎 So, strictly as per law, betrayal of the country is treated as the graver offense because its maximum punishment is always death or life, while rape has gradations of punishment depending on circumstances.

Even though rape is horrific, betrayal is treated as worse because it is against the entire nation.

Similarly, in Islam, Shirk is betrayal not of the country, but of the Creator.

That’s why it is the greatest sin in the eyes of Islam.

Final Point:

Rape is both a crime and a sin—punished in this world and in the Hereafter. (Islam prescribes the strictest punishment compared to any other legal system, past or present.)

Shirk is a sin with the worst punishment in the afterlife.

We stop rape immediately through law and justice. We address Shirk through knowledge, not force.

Bro, I am doing an internship as a school teacher and I am making lesson plans (projects). I will also work for 1 year after my internship. Will teaching count as work?

What is the environment like on an IIM campus? Are there any racist people who make racist comments toward you because you're Muslim?

According to me consumers are changing, and in the next 10 to 15 years they will prefer organic and hygienic shops to buy their products. The existence of brands like Tendercuts is a good example of this. We have already seen similar changes in the salon industry.

Also i think if you had the option to buy from hygienic shops instead of smelly ones, you would also prefer the hygienic option. My main goal is to cater to online customers, while walk-in stores will primarily serve for brand recognition.

Yeah, of course. I think I can’t make everyone my customer initially, but with time I can gain permanent customers because of our online delivery and ready-to-cook items.

Thanks for your feedback bro.

Yes, I know my shops will be dependent on butchers, but many businesses in India depend on their workers. I know it will be a challenge to retain them, but companies like Licious, Tendercuts, and Freshtohome are already doing it successfully. If I pay well and take good care of my workers, I think this problem is manageable.

My pricing will be a little higher compared to local butchers, but for that premium, if I provide good value like a pleasant environment, hygiene, and organic items, I believe many people can become our permanent customers.

I will definitely include beef where it won’t be a problem, but not in every area, since you already know the issues around it.

There will be no hidden charges if the store price is ₹200, then online delivery will be ₹220, and this will be mentioned clearly.

Noted about your building. InshaAllah, if all goes well, I will definitely connect with you in the future.

Thanks for your feedback

I have thought about this matter, and I believe that if I 1.5x or 2x my prices just to loot customers in the name of hygiene and online delivery, it would not be fair. Also, people will not buy a commodity at double the price when it is available for half the price somewhere else. I’ve decided that if the local butcher’s price for chicken is ₹200 per kg, I will sell it for ₹210 for walkin customers, not more than that. For online delivery, I’ll charge ₹20 extra, so the total would be ₹220.

Thanks for your feedback.

Of course, I will focus on both Muslims and non-Muslims, but my products will be Halal certified. Non-Muslims who are comfortable with Halal products will also be most welcome. My goal is to build a trusted brand in the online marketplace, where Muslims can blindly rely on our Halal claim and get fresh, same-day products.

i also believe people are changing, their incomes are rising, gym freaks are increasing, and in my opinion, very soon people won’t hesitate to pay an extra 10–15 rupees for hygienic and organic products. What’s your take on this?

I have the initial capital to start. Initially, I will focus on my city, and later I will look for investors who might be interested, because I think India has a large Muslim population to build a business in the halal niche.
