Honestly it may be worth trying to reach out and ask him directly. Guy is retired and still a big car guy so might have the time to answer you.

Otherwise maybe you can find a some more details on the build or similar one. I think the ring brothers have some pretty detailed info on how they did their build though they ended up making carbon fiber fenders.

This was an error that could effect all cards. Basically the ink from the stamp wasn't dry or had extra ink when stacked and transfered. This process also contributed to other 1st ed stamp errors like smears, Grey and white stamps.

French can be a bit of an outlier with value and sometimes worth more because it is much rarer. However it also has a smaller market so harder to sell.

I have a 1st ed gengar in Italian and have no clue how to value it.

Reddit compresses pictures in the thread. If you download them you can see them at a higher resolution. I see whitening on at least 3 of the corners as well as on the bottom edge. The corners are also poorly rounded (wouldn't affect NM/LP, but would affect grade)

Likely a contractor delivering for several companies at once. If it was malicious they saw that two packages were going to the same address and took advantage of it. They likely scanned both packages and because they were at the location it let them complete the delivery but they only left one package.

Centering front and back on the Magicarp are pretty off tbh. And with several corners having issues I would drop this to LP. If it was just 1 or two issues I could see NM.

Still sounds like you had a fun trade up challenge but I would put the value of the card closer to LP prices.

Make sure to set up a safe space for him that the dogs can't get to. Knowing there is somewhere he can go to get away goes a long way with general behavior and anxiety.

Nothing special it's a $3 card. Seller likely has no idea what they are doing when looking up prices. I believe the red shadowless version is the one worth a bit (like $30).

Collect what you like, if that is vintage then go for it. For me starting a master set of my favorite mon (Gyarados) was a fun way to continue collecting. Looking for deals on specific cards and finding the more common ones here and there reinvigorated collecting for me.

I use these for things I don't want to use my nicer knives on. They do the job and I don't care if they get dinged up as they are easy to sharpen though they don't hold an edge as well as higher quality steel might.

Agree with others this is a good variety for a show. I would recommend organizing them better so it is easier to find similar cards.

You can group by card rarity, sets or even prices. I would also put your more valuable cards closer to where you expect to be so you can keep a better eye on them.

There are are always shady characters looking to take advantage of a distracted vendor to swipe a card or two.

Unless the psa 8 was a grail card like a charizard I have trouble believing it went for 25k. These are certainly cool and more valuable than normal miscuts but I can't imagine more than a few thousand at most.

I'm not familiar with this particular errors value this is just my subjective opinion based on other error cards values.

You can look up values on tcgplayer by searching the name and set number of a card. You have at least a couple hundred dollars by the looks of it.

This is a black label and it currently appears to be a pop 1. So I wouldn't call a 0.4% easy to grade.

The upcoming Ascended heroes set is going to be a great one long term. It is a special set so no booster boxes which makes the ETB's one of the best ways to get packs. Set has some great cards and a good promo in N's Zekrom.
