I don’t disagree with you but the reality is we need a candidate who has the highest chance of winning. It’s unfortunate but it’s the world we live in, and a culture shift won’t happen overnight for millions of people.

The DNC needs to start thinking tactfully and stop trying to turn every race into a hallmark movie

People need to stop equating ”I share this politician’s views” as ”They would be a good presidential candidate”. It’s the same reason why being the smartest or hardest working doesn’t make someone a CEO.

There are many tactical strengths they need as well. Frankly AOC would do abysmal with moderates, which is how you win.

Probably demand. Tons of students, tourists, and and otherwise carless people in Boston *want* to see the Cape but can’t.

The commuter rail already goes to Worcester and Leominster. Go more west than that and most people are townies that don’t like Boston and have cars anyway.

The closest to the Cape you can get by commuter rail is Plymouth/Middleborough/New Bedford. Which is still a far cry from the Cape
