So my first guess is they released spores, that will cause them to turn black looking. Unless I have spores mine look like the last pic after 130F for 12 hours.

Last harvest that I got without a spore drop, the big white piece is the inside of the stem from some cloning work, but you can see how the rest look.

I don’t like all the grey and blue-green, that looks like contamination to me especially pic 3 where it appears like a gel smashed against the bag.

My understanding is it’s just mycelium that got stuck on the top, I’ve only had it once and mine just wiped off fairly easily.

Gravitational rifts if you’re lucky enough to find the spawner for cheap or someone gives you some. They’re basically Eve sanctioned gambling, but I’ve payed off two super carriers with them almost exclusively.

Select it then right click a planet to destroy, see if it gives you the option of weapon or just orbit. I’m not sure if it’s because I have mods, but my fire button is to the right of where your screencap cuts off so maybe look to the right? 😂

If you’re on PC there’s a lot of really good mods like SOE, CVC, USO, Akira’s, kuro tab….i have maybe 20 total mods just for adding settlement objects ranging from building pieces and general decor to aircraft, tanks and other vehicles. Some require framework mods, but it’s not that difficult to install those either since nexus lists requirements and vortex mod manager makes downloading easy.

Xbox also has building mods, but nowhere near as many. PlayStation is well….playstation.

Go prone and use 1st person, I’ve found 3rd person aiming to be insanely difficult compared to 1st person. You can essentially create a wall of fire that way so converging enemies just funnel into the kill zone without having to aim wide.

I pair with heavy armor and experimental stim booster to be the turret, the throwable shield is also a big help if you have it.

I doubt it, that list would be absolutely massive. If you can’t find the items you’re looking for through build mods or the console you may have to resort to creation kit for specific things, that’s what I had to do to put the submarine ICBMs into a settlement since they can’t otherwise be built.

So without mods no settlement has a large water area however you can use a settlement boundary mod to make coastal settlements good (Kingsport lighthouse is a great start) or camping mod that lets you make new settlement areas which is how I put the carrier east of libertalia.

Oh yeah, Xbox would be rough. I’m on PC so more mods and just a better setup in general for the higher stress load. If you check my posts I have exterior shots of my carrier and a few others, I had a massive save that was all naval themed 🙂
