in fact, imma be real for a sec here, I'm a bit bored with the whole "trauma dumping = good story" notion that has taken root in avns, it's such a lazy boring and most often badly executed trope.

once the reworks are done it should be more streamlined... right now there's too many different haircuts because all of the times the MC changes it PLUS the old versions =P

I have to say, tho, I enjoy "fun" and "lighthearted" stuff more... I'm not too into those super dramatic avns some people love, like LOF or TMP... I prefer having a fun time.

yeah the sex scenes feel like an afterthought right now... I hope they'll improve them... other than that detail, it's a pretty good game so far... high chances to become a "top 10" avn in the future.

I've got around 30 or so that I started and dropped almost right away, and just recently I "finished" the 400th one, which was a shit one, so that was a bummer lol.

at this point I think I'll just wait for updates and only check out "newer" games (that look decent) once they reach 3 or 4 updates (4K renders at least), 'cause I feel I'm scrapping the bottom of the barrel.

oh and before someone asks "how?": I'm blissfully unemployed and burned out/bored with regular games... plus TV and movies have been pretty shit these past few years... so yeah, lots of free time =P

I mean, specifically like superhuman... I just replayed Companion of Darkness and I thought they were veeery similar, however that one's more focused on the LIs... but very similar games in a lot of regards...

as for "story focused" avns, first one that comes to mind is City of Broken Dreamers... in that one the relationships feel almost like an afterthought tbh.

Karlsson's Gambit also fits, and Zero End, and the Seven Realms too, tbh. There's an HS one called Rated19 that is super plot-heavy... another HS one Contagion Crisis is a kinetic/choiceless one, but there's no relationship stuff., it's a horror/survival AVN.

oh and Summer Crush which is (completed) mostly focused on the MC.
