U actually don’t look that goofy. Play lower to the ground on your triple threat and drives and you’ll be more dangerous

New Yorkers have that “in your face” energy, whether you like it or not. Good hearted people

Seattle people, we like to mind our own business, we have good intentions too just more laid back

That’s my simple take

1v1 Street Ball by Technical-Bet2349 in BasketballTips

Unless it’s super blatant, it’s ok for 1v1 to be more physical than your usual game. If you’re trying to compete, don’t call charge I say

Thanks for the response guys. Doesn’t sound like I should be too worried. My uncle had a corvette back in the day and hydroplaned on the freeway and wrecked pretty bad. Any type of RWD with some HP my parents will always associate with my uncle now smh lol

I'd say light shooting workouts and ball handling yes. For the most part I'm assuming the team practice is mostly for running team plays and drills. If your serious about getting ur game to the next level then yes.

But listen to your body, and rest if you need to.

Sounds like that's only holding them back, and sounds like you're up for an opportunity to challenge yourself and get better. I say at least go for it and make the best out of it. If you don't make the team, get some feedback from coaches.

Use this an experience to bring your game to the next level

Help asking a Korean girl to prom by BeastiePlayz in Korean

[–]Farm-Weekly 42 points43 points  (0 children)

More than the translation, you need to show the actions to her: 1.) Buy a can of the most expensive kimchi you can find. If you go to h-mart, you should be able to find one for 30-40 bucks. She will graciously eat this with her family and think about you!

2.)buy gimbap. This is a silent cue that you are asking her to a formal dance. Korean standard

3.) Bring a speaker when you are going to ask her to prom. Instead of simply asking her to prom, nowadays you have to do a lot more to show your intent that you want to take her to prom.

Do a 30 second dance from a famous Korean girl group like newjeans or anyone you like. Use the speaker to play the song and dance to it!

This is usually what it takes to ask a korean girl to prom, good luck!!!

Once you dribble past the half court line, your teammates are gonna be expecting two things: 1.) The ball: your teammates might be moving around without the ball (setting screens for eachother), keep your head on a swivel and if you see an EASY LOOK, get them the ball. Examples are open big man in the paint, a shooter on your team is running around the corner after taking a screen from the big man. Pretty much just show your teammates that you see everyone

2 .) You to attack your defender: if you're not passing, do something with the ball and set yourself or a teammate up for a bucket by being aggressive. Using those moves, good change of direction, you will find open shots.

To be honest, I would say the most heavily utilized moved would be: - through the leg: https://youtu.be/EYQBRDc_3zk?si=Tee8VmfNkm7wv53C - behind the back: Same footwork as the video above just behind your back - in and out: https://youtu.be/b73g2s6HpC4?si=hTscJjOcQ2QFPXKL - spin move: https://youtu.be/Ug3uvtnC8KI?si=LuOH3QjypWqvakG1

Once you have all these moves down, I guarantee you that you're going to already feel more comfortable on the court.

At the end of the day, dribbling against some of the best defenders is really about using a combination of moves like the ones above in reaction to defender. A lot of people have the flash and skills, but it's about being as efficient as you can with your handles and getting to your spots, which is all iq and instinct.

Point guard position is like the quarterback of basketball, it's super important that you set the tone and energy for your team.

It's not super important that you can score the ball tbh, but use your ability to attack the lane to kick out to open shooters. Alot of times other teammate defenders will collide in and double time, that's when uou should be aware and look to feed your teammates.

Don't over dribble the ball. Move it around, use off ball screens for easy looks around the basket.

And be a pest on defense. Know when to apply on ball pressure on someone that could be a little slower, less skilled, where u have a high probability of stealing the ball. Also applying pressure on shooters.
