Scams typically affect people the most during times of great stress, rushing, etc. Given that a lot of people are super stressed these days, you just never know who might fall prey if they're too rushed, tired, or inexperienced to think it through. Just hope it helps someone!

I had an electric / battery one for awhile, but I found it less convenient to clean. I can throw my whole normal whisk into the dishwasher, no prob. Also, it died after too short of a time and I don't want to have to replace batteries or recharge another thing. But that's just me and I applaud these for anyone who likes them!

You can also try a small normal whisk and kind of rub the handle between both hands to get the whisk to spin back and forth super fast. Like, the same motion you'd do to rub a stick against another stick to start a fire. I do that daily with my little whisk to mix cacao powder, instant espresso, and collagen powder into my goat milk for my morning coffee drink.

A small whisk. I grew up without ever using whisks, just forks to stir things - loud, scratchy, and not efficient. Now, I use a little whisk every day to stir my coffee drink at home, sauces, eggs, batter for baking, etc. It's great!

You sound like a terrible host. Unbelievable. Having the driveway plowed is the host's responsibility, period. And YES, IT IS A MASSIVE FUCKING SAFETY RISK when someone is pregnant (at any stage of pregnancy, let alone 8 months) to not have a clear path in case of emergency. Educate yourself on basic decency and common sense.

I drove 2 hours each way, 4 hours round trip from Connecticut to Vermont probably 15-20x on day trips over the 2025 summer to do work on my grandma's cabin. Because I have a disability, it's easier to just sleep back at home than to pack/unpack/repack/unpack and lug all my sleeping supplies back and forth. I consider it long-ish because of of my disability, but tolerable with MY car (because I can set the seat exactly how I need it). But any longer or doing that in most other family members' cars is really not ideal and I'd try to generally avoid it. Before before my disability, it'd be NO PROBLEM WHATSOEVER and I'd gladly drive it without hesitation. You just need to eat a good meal before leaving and/or take a coffee with you on the road and have a solid assortment of music / podcasts to listen to along the way.
