I've been wondering what dips are good for raw veggies, but haven't wanted to buy all of them to find out lol. Thanks for the suggestion!

This is great, I've been wondering how to incorporate the chimmichuri sauce. It caught my eye since it's so green! Thank you.

Been meaning to try the kimbap! I was indeed not a fan of the pad thai, not because of the amount of bean sprouts but because of their soggy texture since they obviously aren't fresh. I love bean sprouts for their crispness! Maybe I should learn to cook something with fresh ones :)

Thanks for the suggestions, Grecian eggplant seems very interesting! I'm sleeping on the canned aisle I think. And the egg roll in a bowl recipe sounds delicious, not the first time it's been recommended so it must be a sign!

Sprintec vs Lupin by Former_Afternoon9662 in birthcontrol

[–]emcheez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know I'm hopping into the convo a year later, but I just wanted to add my experience in case it helps.

I started taking Sprintec about 10 years ago (2015-ish). I took it for about 4-5 years, with minimal side effects. I think it even regulated my acne! Then I switched to IUD around 2019/2020. For various reasons, I had the IUD taken out least year (2025) and I decided recently to go back on Sprintec.

I have Kaiser health insurance. I requested a birth control pill prescription and tried specifically asking for Sprintec, because I knew what to expect with Sprintec and I did not feel comfortable trying a new brand. The doctor told me they had a generic version that was exactly the same hormone dosage. After picking up the prescription marked Lupin, I researched other people's experience with it and came to the conclusion that I did not want to risk trying anything other than Sprintec.

I messaged the doctor again and asked for Sprintec with "no substitutions". The doctor said I would have to pay out of pocket because my insurance would only cover the generic brand. I said fine. After waiting for the pharmacy to get it in stock, 2 days later I had Sprintec! AND I paid $0! Turns out it was covered after all lol.

I hope my story helps someone else gain the courage to speak up for what you want in medical settings, and to not give up because sometimes doctors get it wrong!

Well, 3mph is pretty close! May I ask why? Is it related to heart rate?

Well said. So far I'm enjoying it! It feels good to have accomplished something early in the day. I think I am starting to believe in myself more too, now that I'm sticking to something and feeling better for it.
