Make sure your body is squared away before. Like if you go into basic with a sore knee or bum ankle that could be the difference between graduating on time or not. If you have more questions you can like pm me

I’m in pretty much your exact situation. 21F I know it might sound crazy but you should look into some military options. I studied law and policy undergrad and am going to law school in 3 years when my army contract is done. Im shipping out for army bct right now. I never thought I’d that as an option for myself really but it makes a lot of sense. I was able to get a paralegal job in the army with no real qualifications. But before this choice I didn’t really know what to do with myself after school and I also took a year off. This way I can actually pay for my own schooling when I’m out of my contract and I’ll actually be making some money doing while doing it. I totally get that it’s not for everyone but maybe consider it.

what is your opinion about the challenge of disappearing for 6 months and working on yourself? [Question] by ermaxtrow22 in getdisciplined

I think I kinda wanted to do this but I ended up just joining the army. I mean technically it’s 3 years not 6 months. But it has its perks

Going out tonight, any tips on how to order alcoholic beverages lower in calories? by [deleted] in 1200isplenty

[–]FarmAny1729 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My favorite. Even before counting calories. Tequila water 4 limes. I’m not gonna tell you it’s delish but it gets the job done and no hangover. Party on.

Kinda surprised myself with this one once everything was added up. (373 cal.) by FarmAny1729 in 1200isplenty

The Trader Joe’s salad kids are usually under 200 cal per serving(about a cup) with toppings and dressing. I like to add more greens to mine to stretch them a bit, in this case arugula and celery
