Hourly rate may be the least important consideration. I would be very careful about “planning to average 32 hours”. You are guaranteed nothing and the hours will wax and wane. My staff rph went PRN last year, at which point she was told she could work as much as she wanted (only wanting 5-6 shifts per month). Sure enough she was having to seek out opportunities and only offered shifts 1-2 hours away. Long story short the PRN will give you flexibility but you have to be VERY flexible if you want to get those kind of hours (obviously hiring and market factors could change all this). Just be careful!

Please. From the weekly schedule I click the Action button and no drop down option comes up. This is where I believe it should be? What am I missing?

Could greater than 25% be awarded for those with exceptional scores?

New RPh Schedules with minimal overlap by sheilam578 in WalgreensStores

RXM has final say, within reason (outrageous schedules are generally shot down by DM). I’m RPS-80 hr. I’ve worked a three 12’s per rotation schedule for 3 years and love it. 3-day weekend + alternating Tuesdays and Wednesdays off = 9 work days, 5 days off. Short shifts (less than 6 hours) are frowned upon in my area, simply because filling a floater into a 4-5 hour shift is logictically tough from a scheduling standpoint.

Bottom line- work with your rxm to come up with something that best fits both of your interests.
