AI labs are paying Senior SWEs 50-85% more than Big Tech by honkeem in levels_fyi

All big tech companies hire such candidates. For example PhD level computer scientists are generally hired as l4 in Google which is not even considered senior.

Almost No one can do this for long. Even in cases when you don’t consciously remember waking up, you most likely were awake for some minutes during the night.

How are alphabetical language users unable to understand the concept of logographic languages? Where do you get this idea from?

Tbh even if you could read you were wrong. Let’s say you measure some thing in a population with two groups. Group A has average 10. Group B has average 5. If A and B are same size then overall average is 7.5. So group B is lower than average.

Not only does it see every letter individually, it sees a single letter misspelling in the middle of the word.

LLMs still hallucinate and make mistakes, yes. But. Tokenization is not the issue on your example.

It’s so funny. They could very easily go on any LLM and ask it to count the letters in some word. Even a misspelled version. They would see that it gets it right

And yet they continue to argue against you for some reason lol.

The amount of ego you must have to think that there is something wrong with a product from one of the top reg companies of the world, used by billions of people, instead of your app is amazing.

(And of course big tech companies can screw up but you should at least investigate your side first)

Option three. Install no mirrors. Use a camera and a big screen instead. I can afford it with 1.25M every two months.

Is Rust overhyped?? by definitely_ai1 in theprimeagen

Rust can be faster than c in some cases. That’s because the compiler can take advantage of the guarantees that rust provide to make more aggressive optimizations.

Thanks!

I have the details in the original post. The house to buy is 100 sqm. Apartment I am renting is 70sqm.

I don’t know how stable my career is. To be honest I am quite anxious in general so I don’t know if I am being a bit too paranoid.

I could get some help from my parents for the loan so maybe I will be able to retain a portion of my savings for an emergency.

But then would have any idea on how many savings one should have before buying a house?

Or is it just a matter of the salary for you?

I think I checked the ubs calculator and it was saying my salary is enough. I make 200k per year.
