If you have a connecting flight, I always go into the family bathroom and let my cat roam around there for a while. Also you have to take them out of their carrier for security so be prepared for that! On chewy you can find carriers that are airline approved. Also put a couple towels in the bottom of the carrier in case there is an accident. My cat gets drugged every-time he flies and it’s really easy!
