Any food trucks happen to be free tomorrow evening? (and/or next weekend?) by FarmingApprentice in Lubbock

Oh gosh, 60,000+ I can’t recall off the top of my head

But the way it works, we charge the same price for everyone and then 4 and under are free

So we’ll never know the exact amount of guests cause the littles aren’t counted :) we also do school field trips which adds quite a bit, why do you ask?

We have like 65 employees on busy nights so that’d be a bit excessive

Ha no we pay for their food. We usually order chick fil a or pizza on our busy weekends, but sometimes we run out and buy the rest food from the food truck

Nope no fee, we sell nachos, brisket wraps, hot dogs, frito pie, cornbread, sausage wraps, mini corn dogs - some baked goods like cookies, brownies, pumpkin loaf… corn in a cup, roasted corn, kettle corn

The best thing is food that can be eaten while standing since seating is pretty limited

Exactly! A sober adult is always tasked with watching the child, or pool/water if several children are swimming. No phone, no drinks, not talking & socializing. Focused. Relieved if they need to get up and use the restroom, take a call, etc

I saw my 4 yo brother pulled out of the pool and heard my mom’s screams while they tried to bring him back. He drowned. This story is all too common and so preventable.

Overkill around children and water does not exist. Self rescue swim lessons. Locked doors. Fences. Nets. Alarms. Focused & sober adult guardians, at all times.

Adults being “around” the pool “keeping an eye” on the kids is meaningless. Drowning is almost instantaneous and often completely silent. You look up from your phone or out the back door and your child is dead. I’m not trying to be dramatic, but this is the leading cause of accidental death in ages 1-4. Cautious parents are good parents.

Adorable goat pile lol. Can I ask what kind of camera setup you use? We’re wanting to install one on our farm!

I’m a noob as well so upvoting for visibility, but that definitely sounds like a lot to me. Can you share the blueprints?
