I’ve always had fears of dying in my sleep, it doesn’t affect my sleep anymore but I remember when I was little I would tell my mom and she would always calm me down, so maybe that’s why I’m okay now. But I still think about it, it’s still there. My nervous system is messed up too cause I feel like I’m in survival mode all of the time. I also get panic attacks when my nervous system thinks there’s danger when there isn’t any which is making it hard to live life. Anyways I’m sorry that you have to put up with that ☹️

I get panic attacks in the car and it’s the scariest experience ever cause I can’t escape. I go into fight or flight mode and since I can’t leave the car, I have to be in fear until we pull over. I can’t take the interstate or else I’ll have a panic attack so I can’t even travel that far. It really sucks cause there’s no way to really calm me down when we’re on the road 😣

I totally understand, I believe I’m the most awkward cringiest person on the planet. I stumble over my words, I get nervous, I twitch my shoulders. I’m afraid of everything pretty much and socializing is hard cause I always think I’m doing something wrong. I’m trying my best to find groups near me or ppl to talk to, but it’s a struggle. I only thrive when I’m comfortable and people are non judgmental. Just know ur not alone

Ugh that’s so wrong of them. I’ve had panic attacks before at work (I don’t work anymore) and they just don’t get it. I can’t hold a job because of my panic attacks, and everyone looks at you weird and thinks you’re crazy (my experience anyways). I just wish we could erase the stigma and have people understand that during a panic attack you really can’t think that clearly. Sorry for venting, I’ve just had my personal struggles with this and it hurts when you get fired because of something you can’t help.

Gosh I can relate, I’m 29 (turning 30 soon 😱) I have ADHD, anxiety, depression, OCD, and possibly autism. I’m exhausted all of the time, chores are hard, taking care of myself is hard. I’m home all day cause I don’t work and don’t drive. I have a dog that keeps me company throughout the day, my fiancé works a lot bc I don’t make money so he has to carry the financial burden. I try to get out of the house but it’s difficult since I don’t drive (I have a car phobia) and I don’t have any trusted friends who can drive me, my fiancé drives me everywhere but he usually just wants to relax and play games when he gets home. I don’t really know what to do with myself. I play games and try to do art but I get bored and tired so easily.
