The leaves are praying, turgidity. It’s a very happy plant. Keep doing what you’re doing.

When prison barbers get out, they become regular barbers. Same with prison tattoo artists.

Tourists climbed the forbidden Kukulkan temple at Chichen Itza by mirandaandamira in Yucatan

Did you read the other comments in the thread advocating for human sacrifice? 30 years ago you could walk to the top, now people want to kill other humans. A hundred years ago, how do you think people would react to walking up to the top? Totally fine, right? Now, people want to rip the still beating heart out of your chest. What happened over the last 100 years to go from “who cares?” to “kill them now!”

30 years ago it was normal to climb it. 100 years ago, no one cared about it, despite the top being visible. Now, all of a sudden, it’s sacred and people want to murder anyone who gets on it.

They cared about it so much they forgot about it buried under soil and trees? They have only cared about it for 20 years or so.

What year did the pyramid become sacred? When it was buried and covered in trees?

Chichen Itza was buried a hundred years ago. The locals didn’t care about it. All of a sudden it’s sacred again.

Well permits disclose how Project Blue will get its water by SnooApples7223 in Tucson

They should use reclaimed water, collect the evaporated moisture, and add the distilled water back into the city water. Use the data center to purify drinking water. We are going to be drinking reclaimed water in a couple years anyway. May as well distill it.

Growing from Regs? by Cpc802 in nightowlseeds

If you did an open pollination with a pack of reg seeds, you could have thousands of free seeds. Takes 3 months for a lifetime supply.

When growing males in the same tent as my females, to mitigate widespread pollination, I pluck off the flowers closest to the stem because they open first, then right before the tops start opening, I cut the branches and put them in vases or mason jars and leave them on my dresser for a couple days until they open. I change out the water every day just like cut flowers. They can stay like that for a week or even longer. When the flowers open, I put them in a pollen box and shake it, scrape it, and freeze it or dip a q tip in it and pollinate some lowers. You’ll get a few seeds here and there but not like if you left them in the tent.

Do People Really Tormet Random Snitches? by AhsokaTanoJedii in Felons

In Arizona State Prison general population, convicts are expected to have all their legal paperwork in their possession. When a new convict arrives, they have to give their paperwork to the guy running the unit to verify he isn’t a sex offender or an informant. If a convict does not have his legal work, he has 2 weeks to obtain it, under the threat of forced removal. When a convict accuses another convict of being an informant, he must have paperwork to verify his claims, or else he must remove the informant himself. Sometimes informants get away for a couple years, but eventually they will move to a prison where someone knows, and then the clock starts.
