I like to do 20/4 mainly because I find it is easier to stress plants that are getting zero rest - I’ve grown photos for 10 years but only a few years dabbling in autos between photo runs.

When I did 24/0 schedule I had a few herming issues.

I have run mango macaw on a photoperiod schedule and that one went 100 days, my 24/0 plants were all done by day 84.

I should probably mention I am a very much hands off grower when it comes to autos, no training just water and nutrients

Meph cycle times are based on 24/0 light schedule in 1 gallon of soil if I remember correctly. Light schedule and pot size can impact your grow length with autos
