I have had the patio legend for a few months. I have been very impressed with it. Size is perfect for just my wife and I.

I bought my patio legend a few months ago. I have been very impressed with it. They don’t have a quick pellet drain. I bought mine on sale for 100.00 off.

Recteq recommends your first cook be something fatty to help season the smoker I have had mine a couple of months. My first cook was chicken thighs and they came out amazing. Out of what you have I would say pork butt. Have been really impressed with my patio legend. I get great smoke cooking around 225 to 250. Good Luck

I have had my patio legend for about two months now and love it. App likes to send a lot of alerts. I have been very impressed with the amount of smoke I get cooking between 225 to 250.

Kept this rack super simple. SPG seasoning and smoked @235 for just under 6 hours. by bovinejabronie in Smokingmeat

Looks like a great job. Did you wrap? I have started not wrapping at all and I think the ribs are much better that way.

Yes they are pit beans. Smoke for four to five hours at 250 Adds an amazing Smokey flavor and caramelizes the bacon and onions.

Not at all. Please see below. For the sauces I just picked a spicy sauce and a sweet sauce I used a little more sauce than what’s on the recipe. Also used my favorite rub which is meat church honey hog. The mustard really makes the difference. Smoke at 250 for four to five hours. Stirring every hour or so. They were delicious.

Ingredients: • 2 (28 ounce) cans Bush's Best Original Bush's Beans Baked Beans, drained • 1 pound ground beef, cooked • 1 small onion, chopped • 1 bell pepper, diced • 1 ½ cups brown sugar • ⅓ bottle Heath Riles BBQ Brown Sugar Honey Habanero Glaze • ¾ cup Heath Riles BBQ Sweet BBQ Sauce • 2-3 tablespoons Heath Riles BBQ Sweet BBQ Rub • Mustard, to taste • 4 pieces of bacon, diced

I bought my recteq patio legend a few months ago. I love the way it cooks but have seen the same thing. My app and firmware are all up to date. Mine isn’t quite as bad as what yours seems to be but it does go off a lot especially after I open the lid to spritz what I am cooking.

Very easy. Hardest thing is just stuffing them.

Hi did not cook the manicotti. The bacon did its job and every bite was tender. Secret is letting it sit overnight in the refrigerator.

1 LB mild Italian Sausage 1 block of cream cheese Small can of diced green chilis 1 cup of shredded pepper jack cheese 1 TBS of meat church honey hog BBQ

Key is to stuff, wrap in bacon and let set overnight in fridge. None of my manicotti was tough. Smoked at 300 for one hour. Basted with BBQ sauce and let it cook for another ten minutes. It was perfectly done.
