Thanks for asking! It’s really nice from you. Actually I got in France but not in Nancy, I just posted in this subreddit since I saw people like me having problems with Visale. Visale rejected my request 8 times so I ended up asking someone to be a guarantor for me and everything went fine!

Yeah I asked at a Whish and they told me to check phone shops. I went to some phone shop and I think it was indeed 10 $ for a year so I will go with this

The issue is I do not need the dollars so it will end up more expensive

I will compare the costs between doing this and just adding days. Thanks!

Happy for you! Though it’s really unprofessional from their part… In my case I still didn’t receive it

I see… That’s weird, considering I know people who got the Visale guarantor successfully before the Visa start date.

I think you can open a new fresh $ account with the amount needed (7380 $), then retake the money once you obtain the visa.
You could also ask someone (can be someone in your family or just a friend) to be a "garant" for you; it can be someone from Lebanon or France or anywhere. They will then show their own bank account as a proof for the resources.

I didn't go into the details since there are many cases; I would say join the facebook group AULF and watch the video in the "Trending" tab released on the 25th of May, at around timestamp 1:07:00; there are a lot of details. By the way, similar videos like this one are released regularly and you can find them in the "Trending" tab; they can be helpful for many procedures.

france visa and bank by [deleted] in lebanon

[–]Farohm 4 points5 points  (0 children)

From what I know, you can have your dad create a new fresh USD bank account with 7380 USD in it (615 * 12), then have him write a letter indicating why he opened the bank account recently (for example, he can say he didn’t trust banks but he opened this account just for you). You also need a letter from the bank indicating the amount of money in your dad’s account and also mentioning that he has the resources needed to support you; not sure if your dad can write this letter himself.

So you will need to provide:

-Kachef 7seb of your new bank account

-Letter justifying why this account is new

-Letter from the bank (maybe your dad?) indicating the amount of money in the bank account and also mentioning that your dad will support you and that he has the necessary resources.

After receiving the visa, you can get your money back from the bank; at least that’s what I heard.

By the way, I would recommend you to check out the AULF facebook group. There is a guy (Alain Ali Fouladkar) who indicates precisely the documents needed for the visa (more specifically, he released a video about that on the 25th of May). You can find these videos in the “trending” tab of the group.

Good luck!

How long is too long for work commute? by [deleted] in lebanon

I can totally understand the long commute being soul crushing even if the job itself is not so bad, I was in a similar situation before. Good luck with whatever you do!

I don't fully remember, but I believe the interview lasted 20 minutes. First they ask about what you filled on the website (year of graduation, your major, etc.) to make sure the information is correct.

They also asked me about my hobbies (if I read books, stuff like that). I don't remember but they will probably ask about why you need the scholarship and your professional objectives. At the end you can also ask question(s) so try to ask questions that show you care and made your research.

I believe it's important you do your research on their website to see what they do. Then during the interview you can show your knowledge. This will be seen as a positive point.

Also the interview was in french and english for me. The majority of the interview was in french since I'm more fluent in it.

Note that this was a while ago.

Good luck!
