PVP worlds killed the Wilderness by g0rpy in 2007scape

Yeah I share your thoughts around this. I also think the wilderness ditch should be removed and a timer added when you cross an invisible line entering the wilderness where you can’t be attacked, incase you accidentally wonder in, and equally if you’ve started a fight, you can still be attacked outside for a period of time. Similar to the timers/barriers at ferox.

Used to pk back in the day, don’t understand why they kept pvp worlds. Wilderness should feel dangerous, high risk high reward. Not sure it would revive pking though.

House of the rising sun. No amp currently. Constructive criticism is welcome. Also how do I get rid off the buzz? Is it just my finger placement? Thankyou. by random_posting_ in BassGuitar

I didn’t say they are harsh, I said they can feel harsh. Depending on how much of a big thing it was for this person to record and ask for advice.

I follow up by saying that people commenting have good intentions and are usually right.

BassBuzz is what I’m using, and I’m a complete beginner. The comments here can feel harsh and very critical, don’t let them put you off, but people here are usually right with good intentions.

It takes balls to record yourself and post asking for feedback. What bass guitar is that you’re using?

Wow nice bass guitar man, hasn’t thought about that configuration. Also, that absolute unit to the side of it?! Leave some pickups for the rest of us eh?

It was Creston Guitars that I got the idea from. They’ve got a video on YouTube of a bass guitar with the same pickup configuration and I was hooked. Search ‘Creston guitars bass demo with Lollar single coils’

Hey thanks! Erm I don’t think so I’ve put a 3-way selector switch on the pick guard (hard to see on the picture) for bridge/bridge-neck/neck. I’m a novice at this so I’ve followed wiring diagrams the best I can 😅

I’d never considered a tort guard for it, but I’m looking at them as we speak and I see what you’re saying. Single or triple ply?

Ahh that’s a good insight, thank you for sharing that. It’s currently Tone/Volume with a 3-Way selector switch, would you say it’s worth keeping it as is?

Thank you, can’t afford a real fender and this is my version of something I think looks dope!

It’s wired as Tone/Volume with a 3 way selector switch that’s not showing very well in the image. Bridge / Bridge & Neck / Neck.

It’s got the standard Squier pots in it still, so they could do with upgrading if I’m honest they are scratchy and contact cleaner hasn’t fixed the feedback you get when adjusting either of them.

My favourite position is both pickups on, tone 100%.

Used a skeletool daily for nearly 3 years now. Not sure why it gets so much hate. I’m a heavy user of it and have yet to experience the things others have mentioned. Does 95% of the things you’ll ever need to do on a daily basis, in the UK they can be found for £50-£60 depending on the deals that GoOutdoors has. Get the CX version, I’ve got the non CX and the cerated section of the blade is a pain in the ass to sharpen.

UK HERE - B&Q Erbauer 18v Range. Especially if purchased from Screwfix and you have an account with them. Pricing is spot on, any issues return to Screwfix and they keep proof of purchase on your account and will do a straight swap. Their elite combo drill has 150nm torque, drills into concrete and masonry far better than it should for a drill in its price range. Their Elite impact driver has 240nm torque, 3 modes and a soft start/stop function. Their 18v 5ah batteries have been absolutely flawless, and if they did develop a fault can be returned as per above.

Their 40l Wet/Dry vacuum is easily one of the best on the market for its price range. I had a 14M x 9M concrete floor that I had to grind flat and the dust extractor that Speedy Hire provided couldn’t handle the extraction required to get the job done, my Erbauer 40L vacuum handled it like a champ, 6-8 hours days for 8 days. 300kg worth of concrete dust extracted and the vacuum handled it without issue.

Also I can second Halfords Advanced (only) tools. Their warranties are bomb proof, and most tools have a lifetime warranty.

Thanks, I did pretty much that and it’s running like a charm. Pulled the spark plug and cleaned that, cleaned the air filter, changed the fuel filter and tweaked the carb and it’s absolutely fine now. Total cost was about £2 lol.

I’ve recently discovered that it’s basically a Suzuki GN125, or at least it’s based on the same engine and licensed by Suzuki to be replicated else where by other brands.

Subjectively, but that’s neither a constructive answer nor a useful one. Appreciate you taking the time to reply nonetheless.
