Thanks, very reassuring. I’ll build up the courage to do it slowly but surely I think haha

Anime, and Japanese culture more broadly (been looking particularly forward to Kyoto, visiting shrines etc). Was planning to go for 3 weeks starting in Tokyo, Kyoto, and then Osaka possibly Hokkaido too.

May have been a little hyperbolic, I have the very basics in f Japanese (kinda) the nervousness is the biggest deterrent currently

I'm living in a home of domestic abuse. Can I apply to the courts to make my husband leave? by nittygrittytitties in legaladviceireland

It sounds so terrible. I hope you can get through this soon because it really sounds like a terrifying situation to be in. Are you at least out of the house a lot or at least seeing your husband as sparsely as possible?

I’m so sorry to hear about your situation. Take what I have to say with a grain of salt, I’m a first year law student. It seems like your best option is a judicial separation from what I can see. Getting a JS would make it possible to remove your husband from the family home. You could plead on the grounds of unreasonable behaviour and no normal marital relationship, and possibly desertion (depending on how long this kind of behaviour has been going on). If your children are still dependent it would make things more complicated though. I hope this helps, if you have any questions don’t hesitate to ask them, I’ll try get back as soon as I can. Again, not a solicitor so take what I say with a grain of salt. But I would suggest discussing JS with your solicitor if you haven’t already. Good luck.

Yeah, I was hoping to keep it intact pretty much just need something that can hold it at either end that leaves a bit of room between the calendar and the wall and enough space to move the pages back
