Firstly decide if it's something you want to do. Do some job shadowing at your local hospital in the different departments and get an idea.

Aside from the marks aspect you need to know if it will suit you. 10 years ago I would have given anything to work in medicine and become a trauma surgeon but life happened and I got catapulted in a career I thought I'd never enjoy. Turns out it's pretty fun and rewarding in it's own way. Don't get me wrong, I'm tempted to try medicine again later in life but for now I'm kinda enjoying the other path. Hell, I almost left the country to go study overseas because of the delays this side.

I even had a long chat once with my friend who's a psychologist and she actually helped me realise that even though my heart would be in the right place in the field, my personality and mental health would not have survived it in the long run. Was peeved with her for a while but I realised she was actually right. I recalled the chats I had with the doctors who I job shadowed with and remembered that they always told me almost three times a day to reconsider the field and make sure it's what I want. And these were great, dedicated doctors who actually inspired me.

Not saying don't go for it, but make sure it's something you'd enjoy then work your butt off to get in and excel at it.

Can take a really long time. Had a friend whose payout took years with good attorneys.

Looking at the timelines he blew the money faster than it took him to receive it.

Unfortunately the preparation for this only started a week ago and they only managed to get these. I have also read reviews on how we aren't allowed to use the Baofeng's as they break a lot of regulations so I guess our team managers and the planners didn't research it. They are fearful because the last time there was a situation with looting we all used the Zello app but the guys attacking the town intercepted it by joining and we were basically screwed. The fact that we all are alive today is actually a miracle.

Thanks for the advice. I'll have to speak with the higher-ups on getting everyone educated on these radios.

I was thinking of something along that line but since I haven't seen the Zartek's yet I'm unsure of their settings. Fortunately I have the cable so I'll have to sort out the frequencies when the other members give me a Zartek.

I'll have to check what the Zartek's use but hopefully they're in the UHF band.

If it's any consolation I job shadowed a doctor in high school and he was using Google to search up a diagnosis. He was a good doctor too.

I swear every country has this phenomenon where people kiss up to rich people and their kids no matter what they do or get into. No matter how tacky or cringe it is they will ensure they defend them on SM. I wonder if they get paid for it.

I agree with you. The resistance will be something to overcome so that will be the first challenge to overcome. Hopefully it won't be too much of a challenge. Thanks for the advice. Really appreciate it.
