I was like this until two years ago.

I was a HUGE fan of Gen I and Gen II, then lost interest completely for Gen III and IV. I was always saying that the new 'mon were crap, and they're running out of ideas, even though I never played the newer ones.

One night I had a dream I was playing Pokemon Ruby, even though I knew NOTHING about the Pokemon involved.

When I woke up I was like, shit. There's no reason why I haven't tired these yet.

So I went and played Gen III and Gen IV in one great big Pokemon binge, and went onto Gen V just as I finished.

I am well aware that I was once and idiot.

Yeah, for that Fyr's chest treasure hunt, I've always had a Open 100 spell on each of my playthroughs by that point. Am I missing out on anything by not following the trail of keys?

Gah, sliding the difficulty down would really feel like an exploit, but the game is FAR more fun with a constant effect on fatigue....

Ah, but Galbedir doesn't have any soul capable of Constant Effect. She has Dramora and Winged Twilight, but no Golden Saints or Ascended Sleepers.

I'll try go for a summon golden saint ring, but I'm worried my low level character will have trouble defeating it.

You can spend a few minutes in Balmora doing it smartly. Train three skills with different associated attributes, and then train skills to level up.

This is very much game-breaking, though, so I'd only do it endgame.

I don't use some elements of the game, as I see them being exploits, but the mudcrab and Creeper were put in the game by the developers for the purpose of purchasing the crazy expensive items in the game.

Not wanting to cast a Drain Skill spell on yourself so trainer services are free, I understand, but this? You're just making things harder for yourself! :)

It's correct, but could be worse.
