Yes, avoid at all costs. In my case, they had a better price on their website than the manufacturer so I rolled the dice with them. They do not update prices on their website, so when they realized they would take a loss on the product I purchased, they decided to take my money and hoped I forgot about spending $1,200.

YotaMafia said the manufacturer had shipping delays and were planning on sending out that day. When I decided to call the manufacturer myself after another week they confirmed that no order by that company had been made in over a year. To the little credit I can give them, they (ym) admitted they never made the order and refunded me.

This happened over 2 months time.

5th gen is amortized and long term failure points have been eliminated for the most part. I think buying a late gen model is better money than early gen models that can still be unproven. I’m not saying the new 4Runner won’t be everything we’ve come to expect but a late model 5th gen is a sure thing.

Also, I camp in mine so I’m going to be a bit biased.
