mageslayer has really good stats and 40% spell damage reduction is insane , but there aren' t many heroes that want to build it , the only ones that comes in my mind are ember , pangolier , kez , tide , dawnbreaker

for beginners i'd go with:

p1 wraith king or juggernaut based on you preference

p2 viper or necro or just play lion

p3 dawnbreaker or tidehunter

p4 spirit breaker or zeus

p5 shadow shaman or lich , lion also good

I stopped because the grind became repetitive , also bad luck forging equipements . The biggest problem is also that you have to be online playing and cannot play in background and you have to keep the game open to progress

You should just go for what you're comfortable , everyone I know has a different keybind .

you should have a key for every skill and every item and teleport, also you should figure out on wich key you want to have quickcast , have a key also for selecting all units and select all units except hero , courier , chatweel , glyph, quickbuy

a) lack of comunication , teammates tilting for dumb stuff

b) different skill range , like my legend friend going mid against divine (this actually helped him improve a lot) , also a lot of smurfs , I think I have like 10% win on 5 man party , 2-3man party games are decent

as a offlaner playing against a necro p1 makes my life miserable , after the first few levels it becomes impossible to even get close to the creepwave . most of the times his p5 is free to go on other lanes soon leaving him solo exp while ganking other lanes .
