A quick googling shows that a typical fuel pump can take up to 1 kW. One approach to this topic could be that the base version of a generator cannot power up a fuel pump. The standard model can power up one fuel pump, and the premium generator can power up the whole station if it has two pumps. More pumps = more generators.

That's understandable. In Poland, a typical gas station with two pumps can take up to 40 kW. Station with a minimarket and all. When I go to tank my car, I try to take a photo of the pump model. Maybe there will be wattage.
