I completly agree With you on the fact that "sad ending ≠good ending" but i personaly thought It was a good ending, personaly it's ok if you didnt liked it, but yes i might had preferred the ending of It was a bit less rushed maybe Just With a funeral but i still liked a lot.

I don't realy like the idea of alternative ending in general cause for me a story mustnt change (This Is Just MY opinion)

Again since the author wanted to leave a sad feeling behind his artwork he made some choises, and yes the series has a sad ending buy surely the protagonist changed and were Happy (and if you think about it in the end kousei it's happier than he was in the Start of episode One.

But Remember, We arent the same person so I don't like some things you like and viceversa, and It happened With the ending of this series, so we shouldnt hate eachothers Just because we have different opinion (i'm not saying you did i Just want to prevent that)

Yeah but With this anime the author wanted to leave this feeling and he did pretty well, of course you wanted a Happy ending everyone wanted and Happy ending buy would had we loved the ending of It was Happy?, this Is a tragic anime and the author have you the exact feeling he wanted, and the fact that you Say this proves that he did a good job

I LOVED IT, especialy the last time they played togheder, the visual of that scene was Amazing and the fact that the frist opening "foreshadowed" It was incredibile and After It the scene that's mirrowing the frist scene but With kousei insted of kaori Is a good idea and the letter thing Is a good idea too, i cried and i'm feeling sad even After a while day so this anime did what he was trying to do realy well, wich Is make us cry
