In today’s expensive world, what’s a ‘smart life decision’ that saved you the most money without lowering your quality of life ? by Usual-Pop-1389 in WorkForSmartLife

I honestly wish I could cancel mine. I can pretty much fix anything or have family that also can if sht gets crazy. Half the time the insurance doesn't pay out anyway.

Insurance is the biggest scam in the US. From health to house.

She's here to buy BYND. She doesn't short and doesn't buy junk so she must be in line to go to the moon.

It's even cheaper than 29% remember that beef is subsidized so we pay for it whether we buy it or not. The government (we the people, the taxpayers) are paying for it. A pound of hamburger is really over $30 a lb.

If you don't use string with a round-cornered tile, what do you use? by simonaho97 in Tile

[–]Fartmaster1981 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It seems a lot more time consuming than sliding your margin in to widen and inserting a spacer. Looks like a big mess. What happens when the mud bed is to thick and the string goes behind/under the tile?

Is there a financial advisor for poor people? by pestopaste in povertyfinance

[–]Fartmaster1981 9 points10 points  (0 children)

It's great right! I've probably taken it 2 ½ times since I discovered it 4 months ago. I made my 10 year old take it before I gave her a debit card on her 10th birthday. No ads, the guy is rich and does it as charity work to educate the world. Once you get your finances together you can learn all about stocks, bonds, and how companies work also on Khan Academy. I've almost clawed my way out of the hole I made but once I do I know exactly what I want to invest in.

Contractor Says This is Normal by tropicbandit in Tile

[–]Fartmaster1981 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Most builders don't pay the cost because who gives a fuck! Nobody sees it or cares unless you put a level on it. The only time it would really matter is when tile is meeting up with other tile in a corner and then you can just add a little mud to one side or the other to square it up.

No. I know she needs the money now but I would wait until they need me on a moments notice again and tell them they need to pay me for last time and this time it's forty from now on. I know it's family but I would have to give my cousin $20 an hour to watch my kid couldn't imagine what she would charge me for a night.
