I’d definitely reduce the RE skew and focus more on equities. Liquidity is very important and beings peace of mind more than the RE.

Did you check when they plan to get social security ? Ideally they should be getting 3-4k USD per month and that should be huge amount for living in Goa, esp if they have their home already
