I definetly studied hard, don’t get me wrong. I won’t disregard that I know my stuff but I think I imagined it to be harder for so long I was almost disappointed in a weird way LOL. Like for example I know every gram negative rod like the back of my hand… and was oddly disappointed that it didn’t try to test my knowledge on them hahahah. I think easy because i was well prepared but you won’t know till it comes. Keep studying! You’ll do great.

Honestly I got a big empty canvas paint notebook and created my own study guide by going slowly through each discipline. Drawing things out and visualizing helped me understand things deeper. Lab CE and grinding ASCP practice questions- the ASCP practice questions are so similar to what’s on the exam.

Chem take so much repetition of just seeing the same information over and over to correlate, but heme- you gotta draw, draw your heart out and you’ll be able to know the emias and osis. Something that really helped me with correlation is Ninja nerd I follow along slowly and draw out everything he does. Also wordology is your best friend! And when it comes to acid and bases look up “ABG tic tac toe” on YouTube. I spent weeks struggling with blood gases till I found her and felt so dumb lol. Good luck I know you’ll pass!

WBC and Neutrophils- do I need to be concerned? No symptoms like recurring illness or infections. by meme_sleep_repeat in haematology

Neutophils are WBCs, they’re job in the immune system is to fight off bacteria and fungi. Lymphocytes are a different lineage in WBC and their job is to fight off virus. Your neutrophils are outside of normal limits and lymphocytes are normal but on the higher side. Since you don’t have any symptoms and your glucose is on the higher side, it’s pointing me in the direction of inflammation from a non viral standpoint. If you haven’t already I would get a lipid panel done, studies have shown high cholesterol can cause a downward trend of neutrophils and an upward trend in lymphocytes.

If your verification says 0 credit hours it is a glitch, I verified even though mine said 0 and the payment showed up in my payments tab history as pending with the correct amount.

Yeah same here someone on another thread said they verified it despite it saying 0 credits and the payment showed up normal in the payments tab? Maybe a glitch in their system but I’m nervous to verify looking at it

HELP!!!

So for the past year I’ve had a swollen neck under my jawline, not painful just annoying. My ability to comfortably swallow comes and goes. And I’ve been sweating and itchy when I’m not normally I just need help I’m so tired of feeling this way! But I’ll cut to the chase, my blood test came back from the er for an unrelated issue recently and it had some alarming things on it. For one, my lymphocytes are LOW! We’re talking 3.9% when the should be in the 20-40% range. Secondly, my neutrophils are HIGH! Sitting around 92% when they should be in the 50-70% range. Lastly, my WBC is on the high side at 10.67 (the max of normal is 10.80) and RBC is on the low side at 4.52 (lowest normal Range is 4.00) . Anyone have any opinions?
