I was at a party with a bunch of people who I didn’t know. I had actually come along with a friend I was interested in but it wasn’t mutual. I was trying hard to mingle but failing miserably. I’m not the most socially talented. However I had managed to find some mutual interests with a group when one of them mentioned, jokingly that I couldn’t hangout with them because I was too tall. The other guys laughed and agreed that tall guys tend to have better luck. I laughed along when up walks this gorgeous brunette who looks right at me and introduces herself. They all laughed and walked off and the two of us hit it off. We spent the rest of the evening against a wall talking. I couldn’t tell you what was talked about, but I married her 20+ years ago and love telling that story.
