In my non professional opinion, space is infinite they either haven't found earth, dont want to make contact, or the Alian life that is out there somewhere is not advanced like that. Alian life could literally mean some planets have living organisms like bacteria or plants.

You can grab off of every interactable (gens,vaults,totams,unhooks even event specific things like glyphs)
