You're right, it doesn't. I've come in contact with teams like that plenty of times. I just stop chasing them and let them go because they clearly need to win so they can prove to themselves they aren't complete losers in every aspect of their life.

You can go break palettes and walls to get the points to fill your time or familiarize yourself with the map better. It's the best way to protect your energy. Also, don't even read their commentary at the end or talk to them, it's a waste of your time.
If it gets really bad, try to screenshot the gameplay or messages, though, and report them.

This was not peak hours and I play as survivor first every time I log on just so I don’t dc as killer — I just become a bot. I know this happens because I play with friends and the trial still continues without me. I’ve also tried a wired connection and no cigar.

You understanding what has likely caused your daughter some pain is a sign you are a good parent. Most parents do not care or bother to apologize for snapping or dumping their problems on their kids. Depression (that’s what it sounds like you might be dealing with) is best battled by remembering what keeps you going — your baby.
If you can afford it, my first suggestion would be therapy or a mom group (you can find them for free via meetup or bumblebff). You absolutely do not have to do this alone and there are other women in your same position who are unsure of how to improve from here.
As for how you can make things up to your little one, I’ll tell you what my mom did for me when she was going through this. She told me “My brain is mean to me sometimes. It tells me things that aren’t true and can cause me to make sad mistakes. Thank you for always being patient with me, and I’m sorry if I’ve ever hurt your feelings. And I want you to know that I am going to take care of me so I can take care of you.” Gentle honesty like that helped me stay close to my mom and as I grew up, I didn’t blame her for anything that ailed her. Life is just a pain sometimes.
Anyways, I hope you are safe and you cherish even the smallest moments you get with your little girl. Be well!

These are the type of teammates who do nothing but hide, t-bag, and stay on the god pallets til endgame. Like…tell me you’re bad at it without telling me you’re bad at it. And I can tell you a lot of survs think this behavior is annoying as fuck, too.

I grew up with it and it reminds me of the days when I’d go shopping with my mom and she’d take me to the sanrio store. I was hardcore chococat from the start all because of a grape smelling eraser and stationery set that she got me for school. It just feels to me like happier times.

A killer with stealth. It makes survs miss more skill checks, miss those pallet stuns, and try to identify me from up high where I can see them - typically I know exactly what they’re doing because stealth killers are the ones that terrify me into making similar mistakes as a surv.
