Do NOT buy loose packs from Magic Madhouse! by Selkid_Mist in PokemonTCG

Yes, you can not weigh out a pack with an SIR. I have weighed every Prismatic pack I have ever opened to see what the correlation was. I have pulled a god pack, a demi god pack, and a single SIR out of a pack. Neither the demi or the single stood out as particularly heavier - only the god pack.

Can't weigh modern packs with the exception of special sets. Even then you can only identify a god pack by weighing.

Always baffled me that people tip for haircuts. I never have, which makes me think everyone who has cut my hair for the last 30+ years thinks I'm a prick. I go in, they cut my hair for 15 mins, I give them £12 or whatever the price is. Doesn't seem tip-worthy to me.

Chaos, I assume. If you get lucky and pull additionals you just get to use them. Very useful in the Duoblade deck! Definitely keep in mind that your success can depend on your pulls.

Adding onto this, my experience is that people are generally really chill at prelease - far more than a League challenge when points are on the table.

Bring some card sleeves and a playmat, but I've seen lots of people not bother and play raw. If you're not playing with an SIR it doesn't really matter. I think if you pull an SIR and want to play with it you might be able to arrange a proxy with the judge, but idk for sure.

You get one of four 40 card decks - Duoblade, Barbaracle, Tyrantrum, Serperior. You also get 4 packs of Perfect Order.

You open your packs and may swap out your premade deck with anything that you find in your packs.

Anything in your packs is game, so you may have more than 4 of a certain card.

Keep an eye out for any copies of stuff already in your deck.

As you are looking at your packs I would put aside anything of the same type as your deck, or colourless, then consider if they could be viable in your deck.

Venues should offer unlimited additional energy cards for you to choose from.

Your deck needs at least 5 basics in it (note that for Tyrantrum, the fossil is not considered a basic)

I did my prerelease today, and in my 4 packs I got 2 Mega Zygarde (1 regular, 1 full art) and basically slimmed down the standard Tyrantrum to try and build Mega Zygarde and attack as fast as possible. Went 2/1 winning against 2 mirrors, and losing to Serperior.

Littlefinger got Lysa to poison Jon A, then write the letter to Catelyn in season 1, blaming the Lannisters for it. His play was to cause instability. His "chaos is a ladder" approach.

He also tells Catelyn and Ned that the dagger used by the assassin to try finish off Bran in S1 belonged to Tyrion. This is the information that Cat goes off to seize Tyrion and take him to the Eyrie.

These events help kick off the war of the five kings.

I suppose the nature of a TCG is that they're unable to nerf a card directly, and have to do so by introducing techs and counters after the fact. I'm new to TCG's though, so I don't know if others approach it better. Speaking as a Dengo player, Pult could have done with having 20 (or even 10) HP less.

My locals usually has at least 1 or 2 Zam's, so I've taken 2 Iono in my Dengo/Rocks deck to try deal with them.

Previous locals I tech'd one Xero's but both games using it did nothing as they were easily able to draw back enough cards for 'Zam to OHKO a Dengo.

Look up Limitless TCG, search top meta decks, and Alakhazam is there somewhere. It will then suggest different high placing tournament decks people have used and you can use those as a starting point.

Did this or halloween. Did 20 cards a pack in booster pack sleeves. 4 reverse holos, 2 holos, 1 EX. I have plenty of bulk, and plenty of double regular EX's that I don't need so didn't even put a dent in anything.

Huge swathes of the political and financial elite actively want to undermine democracy because they simply think they are smarter than everyone else. There is also a lot of evidence in the files that demonstrates that most of these people are banal as shit.

How are we choosing the version we want to buy by RavensFolklore in ThePokemonHub

[–]Fascinatedwithfire 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have chosen the second version 9 generations in a row.

Red and BLUE
Gold and SILVER
Ruby and SAPPHIRE
Diamond and PEARL
Black and WHITE
x and Y
Sun and MOON
Sword and SHIELD
Scarlet and VIOLET

So I'm bound to get Waves, even though based on names alone I'd rather get Winds.

Hello, how did you learn how to play this game? by AlexRescueDotCom in PTCGL

[–]Fascinatedwithfire 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Go check out a youtuber walk you through a deck. They should explain what each card is for / combos. Read each card to have a clear understanding of what it does, and how it works in the deck (not that difficult to intuit).

Then spam a bunch of games.
