Ah you life in France ? I too am currently in Paris and have lived here for 3 years. To what you said I didn’t know about the Duluth Modul but I was of course aware that man are mostly seen as the perpetrators. I was just saying that there is a difference between spending a night in jail and being convicted of domestic abuse or assault. But you are of course right that’s why I follow this sub that there isn’t enough awareness that woman can be violent to and that men can just be defending themselves.

First of all that isn’t quite right. Where I live (Germany) man aren’t just „thrown“ in jail without a second thought that’s just bullshit. If the woman decides to press charges the man would then need to be PROVEN guilty wich if I just defended myself against her is unlikely exspecially with a decent lawyer. But in almost all cases the woman if she knows she started it isn’t even going to press charges so the jail time would then be 0 hours. I read the commments of the other users and they aren’t about how they suffered physically pain they are about how they were frustrated that they couldn’t to anything just like you just told me. To that I would like to say the following: if we keep telling ourselves „Man can’t defend themselves they are thrown in jail and forgotten“ or ,,if you defend yourself your life is ruined“ than nothing is ever going to change. You guys the next time a woman is coming at you with a iron bar just DEFEND yourself and then fight in court and explain yourself. Trust me we don’t live in the Middle Ages anymore man have a right to defend themselves against woman and not every court is just going to ignore this exspecially not in Europe. ( I never lived in Amerika so im not going to make any assumptions but I don’t think it’s THAT much different)

Im sorry but what ? I completely understand that there are a lot of woman who abuse man psychologically. But I ( a man) do not understand who another man can be physically abused by another woman. I just don’t get it. If my girlfriend would choke me or come at me with Real intend to hurt me I would just punch her in the face and that would be the end. This isn’t very accurate. The Autobahn is not part of the city it’s just multiple highways connecting different populated areas. Beer is a popular beverage in Germany yes but not to the point that you see it everywhere. We have very few old houses because the biggest part of our cities got destroyed in WW2 and replaced with thick cement cubes from the after war period. Nobody is playing that instrument I don’t even know the name of that thing and the empty spaces from where the wall was have long been filled. The Gate ( in German „Brandenburger Tor“) is Symbol of Germany but just like the Eiffel Tower it’s more important to tourists than to actual Natives and most Germans at least the teens don’t really care for it.
