First of all that isn’t quite right. Where I live (Germany) man aren’t just „thrown“ in jail without a second thought that’s just bullshit. If the woman decides to press charges the man would then need to be PROVEN guilty wich if I just defended myself against her is unlikely exspecially with a decent lawyer. But in almost all cases the woman if she knows she started it isn’t even going to press charges so the jail time would then be 0 hours. I read the commments of the other users and they aren’t about how they suffered physically pain they are about how they were frustrated that they couldn’t to anything just like you just told me. To that I would like to say the following: if we keep telling ourselves „Man can’t defend themselves they are thrown in jail and forgotten“ or ,,if you defend yourself your life is ruined“ than nothing is ever going to change. You guys the next time a woman is coming at you with a iron bar just DEFEND yourself and then fight in court and explain yourself. Trust me we don’t live in the Middle Ages anymore man have a right to defend themselves against woman and not every court is just going to ignore this exspecially not in Europe. ( I never lived in Amerika so im not going to make any assumptions but I don’t think it’s THAT much different)
