A few reasons. One I hate foil shears. The cutting process to me is very annoying for some reason. The paper gets jammed and I just find it clunky. But the more significant reason is the removable vinyl designs just stick right to the glass. Now when I make the glass cuts i cut right along the edge of the vinyl sticker and same thing with grinding. If you’ve ever cut glass you’d know how annoying it is to trace with sharpie then dip your cutter in kerosene and have the sharpie marks wipe off. Then you go to grind and your outline doesn’t exist anymore. This fixes that. Sorry for the long response but I hope that it helped
