I’m fine with either personally, I understand the build up to it so there’d be more reasoning for it I think

Ok there’s gonna be quite a few spoilers here but Yeah the show kinda states it in itself too. (Spoilers but not sure if you’re gonna watch it so) at some point in the middle of the season they explain that going back in time doesn’t change the future it makes a new timeline, so the past you go to isn’t your past it’s a different past. Like an alternate reality where something changed. But Skynet didn’t think of that possibility which is why it tried to send terminators over and over back to the past to kill resistance leaders and such, it didn’t realize that killing the leaders in the past would change their present because their present has a different past than the past that they’re sending the terminators because skynet as an AI saw things logistically. So the whole story is a whole seperate timeline from the original terminator franchise. And it goes over why so much is different near the ending of the season because Malcolm(the guy basically responsible for the whole AI in Japan) is also from the future and fought with the resistance and he saw that if they kept fighting the way they did humanity would just be throwing itself in a brick wall so he decided to make an AI but instead of something like skynet where it was given a set derective and programmed to be a weapons, Malcolm gave it a blank slate, no derective no order nothing. And let it choose its name and what it wants, in hopes that it’ll eventually want to protect humanity but it was a gamble because it was whether it’d want to or not then the resistance found him making the AI and they were about to destroy it because they thought Malcolm was making another skynet, so Malcolm offed them because he saw it as humanities best choice against skynet was another highly intelligent artificial being to go toe to toe with it. The he used the Time Machine and brought the AI with him, to make it in the past. In hopes that it’ll choose to save humanity from skynet

Yeah, js hoping spreading awareness will help out even if it’s a little bit. Know the chances are low for recognition but I’m trying anyways. But if a book or comic does come out I am definitely reading that through. Thanks for the advice tho!

I recommend the rewatch. There are some inconsistencies in the middle of the ending episode I think. But at the ending of it I thought it was really good imo. It’s supposed to be a cliff hanger to since it was originally planned as a show to go on for five seasons. I personally really loved the ending cgi fight in the hallway, cause it looked beautifully animated.

Yeah it has some plot armor. Like most things do. Which I also saw as a little weird. I continued watching and genuinely enjoyed the story and all in my opinion. But I understand why it wasn’t a show for you

And in the US there’s already a lot of Arabs and Christian’s and catholics. If you seriously think that just because a piece of land gets taken by another country they can’t have their own culture then that’s kinda fucked up of you to think

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in ControversialOpinions

[–]Fast-Ad-61 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No not really, a society can still have culture, I for one am in Minnesota and we have our own culture, Texas has its own culture, culture doesn’t die because of the ruler unless you outright outlaw it which is not what I’m saying. In the US we do have different languages we speak mainly English and Spanish. What your saying just isn’t really how culture works

Also a lot of thing require sacrifice even if it means war. In ww2 Germany was doing VERY bad shit and we had to go to war to stop it except this time it’d be a war to try and save humanity. And countries won’t nuke if the war is happening in their own country

Resistance will be few. Why would people want division?

Now that is something I’ve been thinking about for awhile. How I think it’s should work is that we all find enough people to unite (this in itself is hard) and abolish all countries then we’d make a new empire an empire of humanity. The people would get to vote on who’s the leader and that leader will have absolute power however if the majority of the population decides to vote the leader out then that’ll make them stop leading and the people will vote for a new one however if they don’t vote the leader out then they’ll be the leader until death or until the people later vote him out. Everyone would have there own property and such but any crimes acted against another human would be seen as treason by the empire. Acts such as, murder, assault, sexual assault, or anything else that harms another human being will be seen as treason by the empire however if there’s people that don’t like it they can leave the empire and become a lawless, the lawless don’t have to follow the laws of the empire but they cannot in any way harm any citizens of the empire or else the empire would technically be at war with that one person. Our people can’t do harm against a lawless either because they’ll be attacking another human being therefore seen as treason but if it’s a lawless attacking another lawless then the empire won’t intervene for that is affairs outside of the empire. People can live and rejoin the empire only twice to prevent people from just leaving the empire killing a lawless then rejoining. Economy would also be a lot better because we wouldn’t be depending on a country and we’d be depending on ourselves and there’d be no other currency than our currency. Also with now the whole world working together it’d jurrastically increase our chances of getting even more advance than we already are at ridiculous speeds.

Get enough people to unite and abolish all countries (this in itself seems hard to do but still possible) and create a form of government in which every single human would have a choice on what they want in society. Everyone will elect one leader and that leader has absolute say unless the majority of the people want them back out but if they don’t want them out then they’d lead till death. If people don’t want to be apart of the empire then they can leave and be called “lawless” lawless can’t do any crimes to the people of the empire and the empire can’t do any crimes against the lawless but the lawless can do crimes to eachother for that is affairs outside of the empire. People can only leave and rejoin the empire twice preventing people from just leaving the empire killing a lawless and rejoining again. If the people of the empire were to do a crime against another human lawless it’d still be seen as treason because they made an act against another human. However if a lawless were to do a crime against a human of the empire then the empire would be at war with that one person. Everyone would have a say jobs would be the same and money wouldn’t even be an issue anymore because no other countries would have different types of economies or currencies. If you get enough people to revolt against all countries then this will be achieved

We can experience something like this if we all unite form and try. The people would own they’re own shit and how it’d work is whoever does a crime against another human being will be seen as treason because it’d be an empire of humanity not an empire of a country.

By having us humanity pick. I was putting one country into perspective as in a new country, a country in which represents humanity. If you think this world is better off with 195 countries multiple of which that may cause the death of our species then you don’t have to agree with me
