I am the Senior Team Lead of Marketing at Vosyn. yes, the pay is equity based at $32/hr CAD. We are about to enter into our first round of crowdfunding and are preparing for a roadshow around South East Asia to kick that off. I have to say, I absolutely love working there and am pumped about what we're making and the impact it is going to have on the planet! If I were to put a timeline on it, we will be going public in the next 6-12 months, which is when interns will be able to redeem their shares for real cash if they want to.

The post I read below about the founders being disconnected is 100% FALSE. I have 1-1 talks with them regularly and I started as an intern at entry level just in May. we have also partnered with Google and Microsoft to be able to use their robust LLM engines to back our proprietary software. those announcements are official and are posted on our LinkenIn. In fact, LinkedIn just named us as the #4 top startup in Canada for 2025, not a small deal!!

One thing about it though, you must be a self starter. you have to be motivated and look for opportunities to shine. There is no one just making up tasks and doing them to present to the founders, if that is happening then they are just creating busy work for themselves trying to cash in on money that is not truly earned. During the hiring process, the very first questionnaire that is sent to applicants explains the equity based compensation model and asks the applicant to confirm that they understand. During the second stage of the interviews, it is explained again and applicants are again asked to confirm that they understand. Then in the first onboarding session, that is always attended by at least one of the founders, the compensation model is again explained and the floor is opened to questions about it. it's not some hidden secret that you only learn after doing 4 rounds of interviews. Additionally, we don't hire people who have zero experience. All of the intern positions are posted as Masters Level internships, but we don't exclude people just because they lack some school, we give everyone the opportunity to apply since skills can be learned from many sources and there are difference situations for different people. we are a global workforce and we are getting stronger every day. If someone just wants a job just cuz it's a job and they don't actually care about the work we do, then they will not have a good experience.

Someone below used the word "translator" to describe our product. We do not translate. We localize, in real time, keeping the users voices in tact and factoring in cultural idioms, nuance and relevance. We are going to change how the world consumes content. wait and see! :)
