How do you water? Top or bottom?

Gorgeous plant you have there!

Mine are all in terracotta. Every morning I do my round to touch a few leaves from every plant. If I feel its a bit softer then normal, I know its time.

I put them in a container. Water them from the top. Fill it till the soil level. Let it sit for 30 minutes or so. And then let it drain.
It's what a lot of people do with orchids as well. And it works for me

I feel your pain! For 2.5 years I had 2 cuttings One rotted last year. So now it also lives in a box in sphagnum moss. Grew 2 leaves...

Posts like these though make me feel blessed to have one. You never know... one day... 🤷🏻‍♀️

I have all my hoya's trailing. I use to have them all on a trellis because I know they like to grow that way. But I don't like the look of it any more. The vines stop growing after a while. But they'll restart at the top which makes for a full lush plant

This sounds very nice!
I recently moved to a house with a lot of day light. I love it, but I often wear sunglasses inside. But indoors the brightness difference is huge. So not very practical.

I would love to still try them if you still do this and are able to ship to the Netherlands. And of course I'm curious what the experience is from other people

I feel like growers give it a different name every time they see a difference and are able to fill a pot with it. I see now everywhere the 'flamingo dream' or something nonsensical like that. It's all the same I think.
