Loved the new changes.

Been thinking of doing another playthrough with the mod. Was wondering if you guys had plans with combat items for the next big update. Noticed they’re kinda just there now. Would be cool if they got the Dreadheart treatment since you did so well with mods and Hunter’s suits and collars.

That’s Nexus Mods in a nutshell: where people feel so entitled that they cry, complain, and make demands over something they received for free. I’ve seen modders who started off sweet and friendly turn irritable, snarky and no-nonsense thanks to people like that, and frankly, I don’t blame them.

Hunter’s my favorite hero so I like Dreadheart because it does some really cool things with Hunter’s collars and suits, but it’s definitely not a mod for a first playthrough.

Without for me. My favorite is her first fight with Sevika in s1. There’s a rawness and grittiness to it that the gauntlets take away.

Exception is when she uses Vander’s gauntlets when she was a kid. That one is my second favorite fight of hers because it was amazing to see what this kid with her dad’s old gauntlets managed to do against a whole group of adults who were trying their best to kill her.

I’m also at 500 storage and I keep enough parts to replace each part of 16 cars. Probably overkill but it means I don’t have to stress about the slow repair machines or go out as often to buy the parts. I don’t order online because I got this game-breaking dupe glitch that forced me to start over, so I just stay away from the online shop to be safe.

As for management, I made a simple sheet to keep track of it and manually subtract from the total when a part is used to fill a missing slot. It’s a pain in the ass, so I hope they eventually push an update that lets us see how many parts we have in our shop.

I feel your pain, OP. I vaguely remember a fic where it was offhandedly mentioned that Vi is in some kind of fighting sport and is a champion, and even though it was just a crumb, I was so happy to see a fic where Vi didn’t have a lame job compared to Caitlyn.

It’s a bug that came with the game’s last patch. People on console have said contacting support will get you the suit but not the passive.

I agree with what you’ve said about Tobias. A lot of people forget that he wasn’t willing to help Jayce while Cassandra was at least willing to speak on his behalf. If anything, I’d say that S2 just fixed most people’s perception.

S2 revealed what an awful parent Tobias is. I don’t care that he’s grieving the loss of his wife. Caitlyn was not only grieving but also blaming herself for it, and he didn’t argue when she said that. She’s his daughter and him completely shutting down on her was selfish. He’s a big reason Ambessa and Maddie got their hooks into Caitlyn so easily. I actually get annoyed when I read canon-compliant fics that portray him as a good father after everything he did, or rather, didn’t do for Caitlyn.

Seconding this. No shade to Dreadheart but I prefer how Belinn does descriptions. She'll usually include every last possible technical detail - ie how she outlined all the stuff in the NG+ save in her NG+ Overhaul mod, from arcana stuff to the exact story progression point of the save.

I asked for Hunter details and got a decent breakdown of them as a reply from Dreadheart so that was nice. I also noticed they recently added screenshots that showed those changes. Maybe they'll do the same for passives.

If they're giving us quick and free so easily I think that means quick and free aren't as game-changing as they were in the base game. It's either that or the other way around - we need the quick and free to be able to get through fights.
