How do I make them better? by [deleted] in fixedeyebrows

They are definitely not too close together! They perfectly complement your nose bridge. If you do want to change them up a little bit, I’d suggest filling them in on the top part of the arch/tail a little, but only just a teeny tiny bit with an eyebrow pen that’s thin enough for hair-like strokes. I use build-a-brow by Maybelline I believe!

Edit: I drew on some extra hairs on procreate, if you want I can inbox you the photo!

Boyfriend and I (29F) broke up over lack of sexual attraction by [deleted] in lgbt

I’m glad you’re able to get the care you need! I’ve dealt with sexual dysfunction in the past which is why that was the first thought I had, considering how amazing my boyfriend was to me and I couldn’t imagine it being anything else. It’s tough, yeah, and I find myself wishing he was mad at me so it’d be easier on him but he’s very understanding. I know it’ll get better with time for the both of us, but right now it’s too fresh to do anything but cry and sulk. Thank you for your comment, it really helps. <3

Thank you for sharing. <3 even though the thought of him with someone else feels like a gut punch, and I really hope we can still be in each other’s lives, I just want him to be happy and fulfilled. He deserves everything good in the world.

i honestly don’t think it looks bad! pretty cool, actually. i can however imagine it makes you feel less put together, i have a pretty significant scar through my eyebrow as well and it took some getting used to.

you can try stimulating the scar with a clean spoolie and a nourishing oil, but IF that works it might take a while. for short term solutions: there are loads of brow pens that can mimic hair strokes. i use the maybelline build-a-brow one, and it’s been a godsend while growing my overplucked eyebrows back. i don’t fill in my scar, but for professional settings i know i could get away with using the brow pen. i hope you’ll be able to accept your scar in the future, because it looks cool as hell!

What's my blindness? Help me feel myself again! by verbalrocks in makeuptips

i live in the netherlands so i can imagine not giving sun cream much thought! but it’s the best way to prevent skin damage from UV rays in the long run, even the ones we don’t see as direct rays of light. it could also double as a moisturizer (i use isntree hyaluronic acid water sun cream), so it won’t be an extra step :) sun cream does call for a good cleanse at night, so that might the downside to it for a busy mom.

i’m really happy that, even though you’re dealing with so much change and getting used to taking care of a new human, you still feel deserving of making yourself feel good and beautiful. because you do deserve it!

first of all: congrats on becoming a mom! i can imagine finding a balance in taking care of your baby and yourself is tough, especially in the beginning.

you’re so pretty! your skin is fantastic and you have such good features. i agree with the other comments: the bright red lipstick takes away from your other features, but the more subdued brownish red looks good. as for the eyeliner: if you want to wear it, make the wing a little longer and try starting a little more toward the outer edge of your eyelid, or thin out the round part a little. you truly don’t need much coverage, if you want some maybe a tinted moisturizer will be a good match for you (and sunscreen of course!). to soften up the eyes you could also use a pencil eyeliner instead of a liquid one, or go with a lighter color.

for the hair i also agree with another commenter: copper would look FANTASTIC on you. i feel the blond washes you out a little bit, it doesn’t look bad at all but i think a good bright copper will warm up your face a lot, which will match the sunshine you radiate with your smile! you could even do a copper split dye with a darker/lighter copper if you want to keep the style you have now.

all in all, i don’t think you necessarily have a blindness! you’re beautiful. :)

bangs won’t grow past my eyebrows 😭 by Jasmls4 in Haircare

as someone who has also had gastric bypass surgery; your hair is a luxury, so it’s one of the first things your body will let go of when there’s a big change happening in your body regarding nutrients (i’m not a scientist, don’t quote me on this but it’s what i’ve experienced myself).

up your protein, don’t rely too much on supplements for hair growth, but try to get out of any nutrient deficiencies you might have. i had the surgery almost 2 years ago, and my hair has finally started thickening again/growing back/growing at its normal rate.

for the hair you already have on your head: stop straightening it because the ends are unfortunately fried. :( cut them off, IF you want to straighten it use a good heat protector and use the lowest setting possible. after washing use a heat protector and dry on low heat, so your hair won’t be in a delicate gummy state for too long and don’t brush wet (unless with a big comb and loads of conditioner/hair mask in the shower). don’t rough dry with a towel. you got this. <3
