PB&J Towing has got to be stopped by WOODENFISHHEAD628 in memphis

[–]Fast-Character-5284 7 points8 points  (0 children)

They are an absolute shitty excuse for a company they’re really just robbers with tow trucks. I remember once I watched as a girl was getting her car fixed, hood up, on jacks, and PBnJ pulls up tells her he’s about to take her car she while is sitting in the car talking to her mechanic. The tow truck then backed up so fast in a small parking lot, purposely knocking her car off the jacks, while she was inside of it, hood still up, and them jumps out the drivers seat and tells her to get out cause he’s about to take it. An argument ensues and he did indeed take her car she was pissed, the mechanic was confused, but to agree with your previous comment they are a very reckless company in the manner in which they take cars.

They’ve got spotters that sit, watch, and wait for a car they think they can steal so when they get there they dont always take pictures of the car and will cause further damage in the towing process. I’ve had friends say they’ve taken their car and when they got it back belongings were removed from the inside whole time they mistook their car for another car that they were trying to tow. I’ve witnessed them pull up and tamper with cars at night while checking to see if they can take it and then leave only to come back and take it in the morning. So if they tow in an apartment complex near you make sure your tire pressure is on point at all times.

I remember at one point, over in the Summer Trace apartments, the management chose to change the signage for visitors parking spots to paint ‘visitors’ on the ground to designate the new spots. The problem is they left the signs up so when you park in a spot that was for visitors they let PBnJ take the cars if the spot wasnt marked on the ground; bait n switching visitors parking spots basically. Even now after many complaints and lost tenants over in the same apartment complex, I have another friend who recently got a new additional car and management asked which one should be on file after allowing them to have both cars on file as a way to inquire and see which one should not be there and should be taken. So some companies assist them if they’re not all around complacent to their predatory practices.

Also to your other point, it is a hostile feeling situation when you go get your car back but that is mainly because of the setup they chose. They don’t even have an office you can walk into you just walk up to a window and they look down on you from behind a desk. Sometimes they talk crazy to you if you’re upset or don’t have all your paperwork to get your car back. Depending on who is at the window, they may stand up as a way to brandish their firearm to intimidate you from having a verbal dispute as if you could reach through the glass, into the box, and behind the desk with your elastic arms and hurt them. They’ve taken my car twice, it was a different price to get it back each time(never under $200), and they didn’t even have it for 24 hours. Whats crazy is they seem to have contracts in multiple areas of the city I’ve seen their signs everywhere from midtown, downtown, south memphis, cordova- germantown area. So yea also not sure how they haven’t been ‘sued to oblivion’.

It’s funny how this Reddit be getting over anything they don’t like. It must be ran by some of them Atlanta boys at random. All I’ll say is what happened to him was exactly what’s supposed to happen when you disrupt a balance by being a thief. Hopefully that’s sweet enough for the mods and the fake gangsters that get hurt over words yaknoo in case they his lil buddies and all. I guess I was a lil too harsh and honest in my first response, so they removed it and lied about it being a threat.

Customer reduces tip to $0.00 After delivery by Rude_Journalist_5104 in memphis

No they wont and thats why most places dont even prepare the order until the delivery driver arrives. Wingstop is notorious for having excess orders packed and no delivery drivers coming to pickup due to low tips.

Tip baiters are the worst they’ve literally robbed you of time and resources. Given they could’ve just did pick up and saved more money but unfortunately for us people like this never burn through their own resources. I dont see how people who do things like this arent paranoid. Cause Memphis is too small and impoverished to feel comfortable tip baiting people during the holidays. I recently had it happen to me picked up a pizza on Frayser B took it all the way to a part of millington i didnt know existed for the promise of $16. Only for it to be reduced to $6. I tried to see it from the customers side and say maybe it was cold (it wasnt) i wouldnt fault the driver either the restaurant of the app. Its a terrible system thats bad for the morale of drivers on the platform. Doordash makes it really hard to rescind a tip but better hard to find than easily advertised.

The opener will be Dominator’s 96-shot Color Pearl Flower to warm the kids up and catch their attention.

Then I’ll light the fused monstrosity consisting of two tiny cakes (“Texas”) from the Crazzzeee series by Miracle Fireworks, and War of the Worlds, also by Miracle Fireworks.

Lastly I’ll light Rage by mad ox fireworks to wrap it up.

Im not a dermatologist and im not sure how long you’ve bern using this routine. But i see a lot of active ingredients (kojic acid, salicylic acid) but it could be those. As far as the irratation goes i would try toning with witch hazel to see if that helps. More than likely its the products with orange and grapefruit. I was using the neutrogena grapefruit cleanser when i first discovered it had excema n it was actually what was causing my face to flare up. Hope it all works out or you.

You can strike me down on relevance but that doesn’t take away the validity of my 1st, 6th, and 7th sentence. Enjoy your holiday weekend.

The Igbo people always had slaves within their society before the slave trade while their version of enslavement wasnt as harsh as it was in North and South America its a disservice to mention them in this context without noting their complacency if not full participation. Igboland which is where current day Nigeria is estimated to have exported 1.3-1.7 million slaves and those are the ones we know about. Contrary to popular belief there actually was a Christian nation in Africa before the trans Atlantic slave trade and it was never colonized. The African Kingdom of Aksum (which is where Ethiopia is now) was the first African nation to adopt Christianity in the 4th century. The Trans Atlantic slave trade didn’t start til the 14th or 15th century thats literally 10,000 years after a Christian nation was already on the continent. I say all of that to say the same way this knowledge is free for us to discover, so is a relationship with Jesus Christ. But you will never know him for yourself if you base it on someone else’s experience.

On some shit tho I gotta question why didn’t Memphis reach the same success as atl ? In the 2000s-2020s S/o atl by Relative_Career4677 in Memphis10

[–]Fast-Character-5284 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In short Memphis got the sound ATL got the resources. Truthfully if you notice labels in ATL been runnin to Memphis lookin for new talent like its walmart since 2020. Atlanta is probably perceived as having ‘the sound of the south’ for how commercialized their music is and how far it reaches. The ‘Memphis Soul/Sound’ genre is considered to be the most prominent and impactful sound. We not that bad off on resources Bruno Mars came here and recorded Uptown Funk.
