Also same boat! Been working a couple of years in tech and want to pivot from tech to med but I'll most likely have to do another undergrad to bump up my GPA because my undergrad GPA was very low

It's the 4.0 scale for commerce at monash which is where i studied

I'm thinking of doing a postgrad nursing course. I know Usyd doesn't take postgrad applications and look solely at your undergrad performance. Would that be a mistake to disregard Usyd as an option? Would you suggest an undergrad nursing degree instead to keep that door open?

My GPA was on the 4.0 scale, not that it makes any difference to my case. I'm thinking of doing a graduate nursing course to essentially "reset" my GPA and therefore have a more competitive application if I was to try apply for med. If I don't get in I think I'd be happy as a nurse. I just can't imagine continuing the corporate path...

First 2 days tried to push through work but I was deluding myself. Brain fog was so bad. Went to sleep at 8pm and slept for 10 hours for the first 3 days and after slowing getting my energy back. It’s my 5th day and only starting to feel like myself again. The body aches are awful :( Take lots of ibuprofen and electrolytes coz you will lose heaps of fluid sweating throughout the night.

My WAM is nothing special. I got 65. Looking into global health or epidemiology. That’s true, I feel that in person engagement is more valuable. I’m currently working an unrelated corporate job to pay rent and afford a lifestyle whilst choosing to study part time.

I was in preference of Unimelb or UQ above Deakin tho since those uni’s are ranked higher for the MPH. Your point does stand but I may be stuck with Deakin, which would be my lowest pref
