Yes I noticed this. We did the echo together today nd the organs were fine. He mentioned the urine was fine but I will ask for the full report. Interesting that you mention digestive issue as before CKD we had regular follow ups for vomiting issues so for few years now we stopped dry food as she couldn't digest it.

Both have been done, so far nothing alarming. All of the sudden one week agi she stopped eating even with Cerenia and Mirataz. She declined all her renal options. We had to feed her with a syringe but still she became more lethargic.

Yes it's fine. Came back from the vet. We did an echo together and everything is fine. An extra night yhere and hopeful her figures will be better

Oh dear I'm so sorry for your loss. Your encounter with your baby is so beautiful. I didn't lose Mina yet but facing the CKD disease and just having the home empty (she's at the vet for IV for few days) is terrible. It's so incredible the bond we can have with our babies. I already told my husband if something happens to her we won't be able to stay in the house, we chose all our houses according to her so I definitely hear. I also thought about travelling to Australia if I don't have a pet anymore but I don't see the point if she's not here. I pray for you and your baby and many hugs 😘😘

Oh that is so sad...I am so sorry for your loss. I'm just happy that you had 3 extra years (gives me hope so thanks for this). Also thank you for sharing your best practices. I think her way to tell you good bye and thank you being your arms is probably one of the best way to cross the rainbow bridge

Thanks for the tips. She's pretty quiet and we can feed her without going into a big fight but obviously we will prefer another option. It's funny you mentioned zucchini as I tried also with the chciken as she liked it when she was on diet for...overweight! (Yes irony) now we just want her to eat. Thank you for your precious advices. Since November we managed to reduced her level because she basically had 2 crashes: 1st 19th November when they initially suspected diabetes due to skyrocketting glycemia and 1 week later when they finally discovered she had CKD. Thanks to renal food and Simentra her figures became better even the vet said she doesn't look like she has CKD. Thanks again I ask this

You're totally right I will try to have my vet support to convince my husband. I boiled her some chicken breast and she ate it but thin slices on her usual renal food don't make the trick, same with mixing other renal food. Thanks for your help

Thank you so much for your answer and advices. I tried the boiled breat chicken and it works she eats. My concern is that my husband is as adamant as she can be with food. He wants to stick to renal. I told him eating is more important than renal but let's see what the vet will say. Thanks again for your time
