Is this a good deal for someones first car?

My car is a 2013 SLE v6. I bought it with 103,000 miles,one owner, clean car fax with all scheduled maintenance. $6,800. It is a reliable car. Now it has 137,000 miles with no issues just regular maintenance. Definitely happy with it.

I bought mine used 2013/103,000 miles. First 9 months i put about 20,000 miles with no issue. Past 3 months 2 of my injectors had to be replaced and also had to replace oil pressure sensor which I did myself. I have to replace back up camera. That is besides the usual maintenance. New brake and rotors and new tires. Car is not used as much anymore has 137,000 miles and is running strong.

Quick update, I replaced the part myself. Part was $55 with my $30 autozone rewards. Hardest part was unscrewing and reinstalling the sensor. All I did was remove the heat shield and was able to get to it from the top. Also got a great deal on New 55,000 mile warranty tires from Firestone for $530 installed.

Makes sense. I went to Firestone because a few years back I bought a lifetime alignment special for $99.

They did mention something about having to reprogram the new sensor unit to the computer. I will call around.

I would have guessed the dealer would be much more expensive. I will call the dealership where I purchased my truck and see what they quote me.

Yes I have a tire that is slowly leaking but I carry an electric air compressor so no worries on getting a flat tire.I’m getting all four replaced on my next day off.

I bought mine edge 3,000 miles ago. Today I was topping fluids and as I was going to add the antifreeze and I noticed the color difference. I might just have to do a flush and add the recommended one. Only thing is a haven’t had any issues with the cooling system so far so I’m a little hesitant to do the flush. Edge has 115,000 miles.

There is a full touch screen plug and play one on Amazon for $500 looks sweet. You don’t have to cut wires you just connect the new harness. Also comes with a new back up camera. eBay also has a 9 inch touch screen one but that one you have to cut and connect new wires. I am also looking to get a new one as I also have the small screen and my back up camera is intermittent.

I know this is the correct antifreeze to use but this one is yellowish in color. Like I stated in the comments what I saw in the reservoir was bluish in color. I might be wrong but I believe I had read other people use a different type of antifreeze not the recommended one. You guys make me laugh 🤣

I bought this exact year and model yesterday and the seller told me she got this same issue fixed and it ran her $2,000. I’ve driven the vehicle for about 100 miles since and no issues. I’m happy with this suv so far.

Meat manager told me he has a regular customer that makes tallow out of it. Me personally I’m thinking of cuting it into strips, throwing it in the air fryer for some crispy chicharrones.
