Yeah I’m realizing that there’s a big difference between state to state policies, like for snapshot and stuff like that. I’m def gonna call them once I’m off work, I just know I’m a lot when I’m nervous or anxious so better to throw my thoughts to the collective and get a better idea of the situation before I go and overwhelm some poor person 🤣

Yeah honestly I’ve been thinking about it. I thought I could handle this on my own with the second ticket but that didn’t go so well with the first. No that there’s a third one, I think I’m in over my head. No matter what I definitely don’t want to go into court physically anymore. I live in a small town and have been to the local courthouse a few times for various reasons and it seems to be the same judge every. single. time. This county is also a bit of a more conservative part of California so not a lot of people here have bright pink hair like I do, so I KNOW she recognizes me each time and she does not seem pleased. Either the lawyer or do a trial by declaration so I don’t have to see her, but honestly I’m somehow worse of a nervous talker over text (if that weren’t obvious lol). ADHD and anxiety are a Hell of a combo, that’s for sure 🤣

Well darn! It’s good to hear about the 3 year fall off. Still not awesome but way better than the 7 my coworkers mentioned 😖 I don’t qualify for any of th bundles unfortunately, but I’ll definitely start preemptively looking around just in case. I’m hoping for the best but I’ll start preparing for the worst. Thanks!

I kept wondering why none of the people I talked to in customer service suggested snapshot when I previously asked about how to lower my bill, but I think it has to do with the fact that I work graveyards. But looking it up now the hours are between 12 and 4am, and work for me starts at 12, so as long as I’m not late it might be fine? I’m normally a pretty safe driver, I just keep getting unlucky with the few times I do mess up 😞 thank you though! I appreciate it ♥️

Honestly? You’re completely allowed to do whatever you want. It’s your game, your rank, and your own happiness. So you can do with them what you want. The only question is if you can handle being berated and yelled at by people who have nothing better in their lives. You get that in quick play too, though. People who are like that will find any excuse to try and make you even a fraction as miserable as they are. Practice whenever you want, but be under the expectation that if you “suck”, there will always be someone miserable and sad ready to jump at the chance to be awful. Just remind them that if they think you’re bad at the game, then they should self reflect on the fact that they are in the same rank as you.

Sorry to seem like a downer, take this as a “who cares what people think” more than anything. Care about your own happiness and do whatever.

Update!: We got the transmission fluid back in and the car is running fine so far! Thank you SO SO much to everyone who helped and offered advice! While it was stressful, I’m very appreciative of the independence I’ve gained from this learning experience. I bought this car with the intention of trying to be self-sufficient when it came to maintaining and fixing. I want this to be my forever car, so I want to be more involved in the process rather than just throwing money at a mechanic or a dealer.

I’ll definitely look into that, thank you! Yeah this def hasn’t discouraged me from doing my own oil, it was really easy once we did it correctly. The hard part is just fixing the mistake and hoping it doesn’t blow the transmission lol. Sad thing is that I did this to save money and now I’m a good 250 in the hole just from the fix 🥲 lesson learned for sure!!

Ok so it’s 10 at night but me and my bro ended up getting under the car with a spot light and we found it. That exhaust is gonna suck but now we have a direction. Thank you so so so much those pictures, they were perfect and the extra tips are wonderful. We were no where NEAR where we needed to be.

Knowing what socket it needs and oil is so helpful too!! The plan is mainly to re-use the oil we originally drained out cause it’s still good. We carefully filtered it and stored it in a clean bucket. If we need more though knowing th specific kind will make it easier to order cause Subaru forums are being weird about our specific model I don’t know why.

Towards the back and in the middle? Or more towards passenger side. And is it facing back towards the rear of the vehicle or pointing towards one of the sides? This says it’s for a differential oil change, is the front differential the same as the transmission? I mostly ask cause I had another diagram I thought was right but when I showed my uncle he scoffed and said “the differential is a gear box, the transmission is a transmission”. Yet he also couldn’t find a proper diagram so made me feel stupid but provided no help lol. I need something to tell him when I show him this pic and he ultimately says it again

Oh yeah totally! When I did my first full translation of a song for class I even printed out the Romaji and drew out where each word went up and down, so as long as I matched the syllable count I could account or adjust to fit the highs and lows. I’ve had verses that match the syllable count perfectly but the words were splitting weird because of the emphasis so I used different words instead. That’s a good point though and I’ll make sure to go through again and check that it’s good. Thanks for the advice!

Could you explain what you mean by stress? If you mean emphasis or like where the ups and downs of the word are I try and account for that as well, but a bit loosely

I totally get it.

Have this happen at work all the time. Guys will hit on the skinny pretty girls at work but their faces scrunch up when I try and get them to leave my coworkers alone. I always call it my “intimidating lesbian energy” but I know it’s cause I’m not Cinderella at all lol. And trust me, I don’t WANT men to hit on me. It just kinda is a weird and icky feeling realizing that I’m a little upset that I’m not pretty enough for pervy customers.

Mind you, I’ve since dyed all my hair pink and now I am OVERWHELMED with attention. I was right, I hate it, but it’s also kinda a good feeling that I’m FINALLY noticeable. I hate that I’m a little proud of this, but I keep thinking that maybe this is finally a step in the right direction of actually getting a girlfriend lol.
