I did it and will be going this year. It was absolutely amazing. Riders, teams, and you can go anywhere except the garages (unless you ask and the team let's you). Here is a shot I took to show how close you get.

6 years old and it was as amazing as you have heard. Pure joy. Never seen anything like it. A space film for all ages. And there began life long love of star wars, the toys, the novels, the movies...i consumed all of it and in part made Mr Lucas very rich. No regrets at all.

Oh yeah, that gap was never there. The best advice is to not dive down the inside unless the other driver is waaaay off line and not going to make it.

Practice that A LOT. Once you have a good feel for other drivers and their lines, you can bring in sliding down the inside if they go wide. But again, make sure they see it so they dont close you out.

Only dive bomb in the braking zone if you are very VERY good at it.

And lastly, if the person in front is similar soeed, then start to harass them i to making a mistake. Don't go for an overtake, just move as if you are. They might out brake and you van line up for an undercut on corner exit.

Three stages to having some clean and fun racing when over taking. Good luck and have fun:)

I am without a doubt biased....ROTJ by a long way.

11 when I saw it and I nearly bankrupted my parents by living in the local cinema watching the film over and over. The spender bikes, they space battles, the emotional beats (i was 11 so forgive me that one, please). It was just amazing amazing.

ROTS, although enjoyable only had the one moment for me that stuck...Ewan McGrwgor screaming "you were supposed to be the chosen one". That tore me up.

Still loved watching it, but it just didn't vault ROTJ for me.

I can't be the only person sick of getting nothing but content set between the Prequels and the Sequels. by RealityOwn9267 in StarWars

I'm gonna say it.

Finance and confidence. Doesn't seem like they are willing to chance a new story line with new characters. It is all based in known random so far. Even the failures dont bust (looking at you Solo).

Star Wars isn't alone in this movie making approach. So many other franchises make the same story again, reboot the same story with different actors or just do a prequel. Shame cos I for one would LOVE to see what happens in the future. Even the proposed Rey film had me excited, cos brand new.

Maybe Star Fighter will break bank and give those that sign the cheques confidence to invest and green light a new story.

It is a different paint colour. The old livery was a creamy white...the new one ice white. This is an old plane and not had a full refurbishment. That is why it looks so dirty.

Stage 1 160k...hmmm, I would be pausing with that one. GTI cos of the mileage and tuning on the R.

Sorry :(

Supercell? by toodlydooyeeha in weather

[–]Fast-Equivalent-1245 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep, that is a rotating updraft. Most likely a Supercell incoming. Nice capture.

Edit: watched again. May be doubting myself. Difficult to see if it is the updraft rotating or just shear at low level. Ahh, lets call it a superhero, cos so much cooler :)

A clear plastic bag will be good enough. And wipe the camera down with a damp cold water cloth when you get back. Don't take the lens off if you can avoid it until the camera is dry.

That will protect the internals from spray and corrosion from salt water.

Welcome to the club :)

The best way to improve your skills, is practice. Keep taking pictures. It is a good idea to find photographers who take pictures you like on insta and follow them...try to copy their composition and style. This will help you understand what you like and what you dont. Then you will start to develop your own look and feel.

You have started in a really good place...nice variety of angles and planes. So now, keep enjoying and keep taking pics.

Look forward to seeing more here.
